Went here for a drug test. The location is inside Jewel Osco, it's right next to the pharmacy which is somewhat in the middle of the store. I would advise just trying to find the pharmacy, and then walk past it towards the back of the store, and then you'll find this Quest Diagnostics location. It's labelled and there's a door to get into the waiting room. It should be unlocked. Once inside, there's a screen to check in along with some chairs. This location doesn't always take walk ins...I got an appointment for the morning, and when I was there, there were no walk ins for the day, so please get an appointment. They were quick and efficient. I unfortunately didn't pee enough on the first try for the drug test, but luckily I brought water with me. Please, for the love of all things holy, bring your own water! For drug tests, if you walk outside of the waiting room, it counts as you refusing the drug test...so buying a water at jewel won't work unless you do it right before you start the drug test. They do not provide you water at this location. Also might be useful to bring water for a blood test too...the woman working there was quite nice, so I do recommend this location so long as you bring water. Needless to say, after drinking the water I brought and waiting for an hour, I was able to finally pee enough for the drug test. Thank goodness I made an appointment in advance and brought my own water! In case this is helpful for anyone taking a drug test, here's a list of things to bring: -water -government issued photo id -appointment QR code (can be on your phone, no need to print) -drug test info (mine was via ePassport, so I just showed the bar code on my phone)

Took over a week to get me my lab results, and then what they sent me wasn't even for the test that was requested. Completely unacceptable, first that I had to wait over a week for a simple blood draw result and then for the result to not even be what my doctor ordered. Thank God it wasn't for something serious, but wow, how unprofessional for the lab to have my sample and sit on it for over a week and then not even test it for what they were supposed to. I will not be using Quest again. That said, can't say anything particularly bad about this location itself. If I could find a place to leave this review on the actual company, I would.

No signage anywhere in the shopping center. Had no indication it was in the Jewel. Made the appointment via the phone bot. That also did not tell me it was in a Jewel. Called for help. After THIRTY MINUTES, I get an outsourced customer service rep who says they can't do anything for me. By then, I was already at another location. Only then was I told this place was in the Jewel - apparently I should have suspected it was inside of another totally unrelated grocery chain and checked the website to figure out which one. By the way, even when I did get to the other location to ask them why I was sent to a lab that seems not to even exist, there was no one there. Just a kiosk to sign in. No way to ask someone for help or lodge a complaint. This company hates people. Please stop sending your patients to this awful place. But my phlebotomist was lovely.

Very poorly trained and qualified staff. The phlebotomist only did 3 out of 13 or 14 different blood tests that were ordered requiring me to schedule another appt to go in again. There was only 1 woman working and she seemed too busy playing her music loud and singing than actually doing her job. I spoke with a supervisor as well about this and they could care less. I had to fast two times until midday/afternoon for these tests because this woman didn't do her job. Only come to this place if you have no other option, otherwise I would recommend having your dr fax your tests to Ascension lab or Northwestern lab. This place is way too unprofessional, from the lower level staff to the managers.

Went in to get blood work as a walk in like I’ve done before. After I checked in a lady came out and told me no and to go because she didn’t want any walk ins today. I tried to be cordial and nice but she was SO SO rude after I told her I checked in on the tablet. I said she didn’t have ti have an attitude and she proceeded to be nasty to me and said she won’t accept any bloodwork over my phone and to send it to her. I asked how to send it and she walked away. After sitting for a bit she came back and said she still didn’t have anything and I explained I needed to know where to send it she only gave me the fax which I couldn’t do from my patient portal on my phone. I found an email on my own and sent it to her and she told me she won’t do emails. So I ended up having to leave. I’m not sure what her name is but I went in at 2pm Jan 18

I was seen quickly as a walk-in and even though there was an issue with my paperwork, the staff was patient and waited while I was on the phone with my doctor to ensure I didn't waste my time. Easily could have told me I would have to leave and rejoin the walk-in list but they didn't - very grateful and would recommend this location!

They don't offer the breath/Helicobacter pylori/H. pylori test at this location... even though you can make an appointment for that test at this location. So I took time off work and wasted time driving there in the snow to be told They could not do the test that I made an appointment for.. at this quest location. the staff was friendly and fine. but quest needs to revise their website to accurately reflect which services are offered at which locations

This location advertises they close at 3 but drug screenings actually end at 2pm. This is listed on their door but this is not helpful because this isn’t what’s listed once we get our confirmation in email. This is huge inconvenience and needs to be updated everywhere so that people can know and plan accordingly.

I don't understand the bad reviews for this place. I had an appointment & they took me 10 minutes early. It was quick & easy, and the person working there was extremely receptive when I said that I'm not good with getting my blood drawn... I got an ice pack and a fan, & was talked (distracted) through the whole thing. Completely painless experience in here with the staff & the needle.Also-- Didn't seem that hard to figure out that the Quest is located within Jewel Osco, there are signs at the entrance to the store directing you.

Friendly staff and fairly quick but the fact they have no walk in appts makes this place less desirable. It also can be complicated to make the online appt as there seems to be some glitches on the platform

A lot of these places have low ratings. And one or two of them I can understand why. But this one is cool. Latoya got me right away and was very polite and professional. Will be coming here from now on.

It took me 30 mins to get there to get some blood drawn. I arrived at 2:50 and the girl was talking on the phone commenting to her friend (or whomever) she was closing up. I asked her to take my blood work and her comment is that they take the last appt at 2:40. This is not stated anywhere online. She literally looked like she took pleasure in her response. Lazy attitude and poor service!

I’ve been going to Quest for years. They always accept walk ins.I show up to this Quest and there was no one there waiting or getting blood drawn, and yet the staff refused to take me as a walk-in. Some new “policy”.They insisted I had to schedule an appointment online, but there were no open slots for the day, again still given the place was empty. Drove to a different quest that takes walk ins.
