On the positive, they have gotten my orders right. (Which is more than I can say for some other QSRs in the area.) But I’m very disappointed with the takeout service order using the Potbelly app. Both times I have done so recently, my order has not been ready on the time listed on the app. After giving them 5 extra minutes to prepare it, I’ve asked someone there where it is and both times they look at the computer, scroll down/up, and say “Sorry, someone must have stolen it.” I know this isn’t true because I arrive 5 minutes before the order is supposed to be ready and I’m seeing all the Uber eats and DoorDash drivers come in. The person by the takeout orders is asking the customer for their name but not asking for ID/screenshot of order confirmation (which they should be doing). Then they start to make my order which is 10-15 minutes later than the expected time. So I’m using their own app and third-parties are getting food ahead of me. I don’t get offered anything in return for my time sitting there. Meanwhile, the third parties continue to get their food and my dog is leashed outside and I have to continue to go outside checking on him. A free sandwich, drink, or side would be nice. Please fix your technology, be transparent about why my order was missed, and provide some sort of compensation for the mistake, along with an apology, rather than putting it on the shelf while I’m standing there. Thank you.

This is my second time ordering the Mediterranean sandwich with no hummus but when I received my order there was hummus on the sandwich…I now see hummus in my nightmares and will be receiving therapy for this.

Every time I order through the app for delivery I’m always missing something from my order! this is the 3rd time this have happened. All they can say is they will refund the missing item and I never receive my refund absolutely ridiculous!

I ordered a very large catering order for a company event on 10/29. I placed the order through the website 3 days prior with delivery. Delivery time came and went, no order and ZERO contact from the store. I called 25 minutes after delivery time, the manager informed me they didn't have any delivery drivers and that I needed to pick up the order myself. I sent my employee and the order was not even ready. They charged me delivery and a very large automatic gratuity. By the time the food arrived, half of my guests left. Manager said he would refund me the delivery and tip. I told him that wasn't enough, he said he could refund an additional $100. Two weeks later and many phone calls and email sent to his boss and still no refund. BUYER BEWARE! I don't like giving bad reviews, but this one is really deserved. Obviously, it's company culture issue. Even the corporate number, you can't speak to anyone.

Good if you want a simple sandwich but God forbid you have any customizations. Went with my partner whose allergic to dairy and despite saying "no cheese" they still put cheese on. He went up a second time and still said no cheese and this time they listened but didn't put his hot peppers on. Good luck.

my expirience in this potbelly was not good. ordered and paid for my sandwich and alerted them of my dairy allergy and asked for no cheese. i get my sandwich, it has cheese. so i bought a second one, saying nothing diffirent from the first time i ordered, and the second sandwich doesnt have cheese, but is still the wrong sandwich. dont go here if you want what you order, seems like they'll just give you what they want to make.

So, I am not sure why I continue ordering from here. The only thing I ever order is their salads. The first time the lettuce looked like something from the trash or leftovers from the night before. The second time my salad did not have bacon as described on the menu, oh and btw I did complaint. The third time, this was yesterday 10/10/23 my apple walnut salad, again the lettuce looked all shewed up, brown limp, dead, and of course no extra blue cheese which I paid for, I did complaint again spoke to restaurant manager Pam all she had to say was I'll tell them to pay attention to the screen and I'll refund your money for extra cheese.

This didn’t feel like Potbelly’s at all. You know the usual way you order your food at any other Potbelly’s , well not here , you order “McDonalds” style here and it seemed more expensive than other potbelly’s I’ve been too but that wasn’t too much of a concern as much as the problem with ordering. Now to the sandwich… i don’t know if there oven isn’t cranked up high enough but my sandwich was toasted and the meat was cold. This has to be my least favorite potbelly’s and I go to every one on my area.

The food was pretty good, as always and so was the service! The workers are very friendly and fast (with making the food). The inside is also very original and fun!

I appreciate the friendly staff at this potbelly. I live right near here so it's a quick option to snag for dinner if I don't want to cook. Last time I was in, the nice young woman working caught me as I was leaving and pulled me back to make sure she had included the applesauce with the children's meal I had ordered. I wish the other patrons had been more respectful, there was a green Jeep compass with a temporary Indiana plat sitting outside eating and just discarding their garbage outside their vehicle doors. I made a big show of picking it up and throwing it away in the garbage can roughly 6 feet away from their vehicle. Shame on them.

My food was very cold, I don’t think it’s safe to eat cold chicken and cold bacon. What a waste of money definitely don’t recommend

Tbh worst location in Chicago- consistently gets order entirely wrong and they have it set up where you order everything at register first so it’s not the standard experience where you watch and decide the toppings as they make the sandwich. Hard hard no, it’s wrong every single time.

It's the first time I go to a Potbelly's and I was nit disappointed. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the cashier, who BTW, had a great energy to her. She took our order and made us feel welcome. I got the same feeling as when I walk into a nice restaurat and the hostess greet us and walk us to a table except this was at potbelly's. The restaurant was clean and it had a nice atmosphere and a almost rustic decor with great art on the wall.Now let's talk about the food.I had the chicken club with all the fixings and I added some avocado for good measure. Boy did I made the right decision. As soon as I took a the first bite I tasted an explosion of different flavors. Form the fresh backed bread to the Applewood smoke bacon. The veggies were fresh and the avocado delicious and cremy as a fresh avocado should taste. The bacon was crispy and you could really taste the apple wood. I was not a fan of the pickles. Those tasted like cafeteria can pickles. But the rest of the sandwich made up for it.Good bye subway, hello Potbelly !
