I had run in after work to get cake mix for my pup’s birthday and a few items and they were so gracious enough to let me snag them and gave me recommendations on the doggie ice cream. Our babe was over the moon with his treats and I can't wait to go back! Thank you for being so fantastic and making not only my pup’s birthday but my day as well!!

Farm to Pet
4136 N Kedzie Ave, ChicagoWe love your treats so much. My dogs get so excited when I pull out a Farm to Pet treat bag. For me, I love that I’m giving my dogs a healthy single ingredient treat. I also love that I can break them down easily into smaller pieces which is great for training. I have a question tho, I buy these in bulk to give to our new puppy families. What is the shelf life on these treats?

Rockstar Pets Chicago
1717 N Ashland Ave, ChicagoI love Rockstar Pets! My pug Ozzie has been going here for enrichment for about a year now. He is very well treated; he's eager to go in whenever we walk there and the staff give really nice comments about him and communicate whenever there have been issues (like one time when he hurt his paw a bit.) I also love that when we leave town, we can board Ozzie in the same place he already knows, with the same great people looking after him and also all his pup friends! Also the location is very close to the eastern end of the 606 so it's quite easy to walk/bike to from much of Bucktown/Wicker Park.

Bentley's Pet Stuff
3657 N Southport Ave, ChicagoExceptional Service from an Outstanding Associate!
I often frequent Bentley's Pet Stuff in Wriglyville, my experience was made exceptional by the wonderful associate, JR. From the moment I walked in, JR greeted me with a warm smile and an eagerness to help that is rare to find. His knowledge about the products is extensive, and he took the time to understand my pets' needs, ensuring I got exactly what I was looking for.
JR's dedication goes beyond just making a sale—he genuinely cares about the well-being of the animals and the satisfaction of the customers. It's clear that he's not just an employee; he's an essential part of Bentley's Pet Stuff and a valued member of our community. He makes shopping for pet supplies not just a chore, but a pleasure.

Trophy Paws Pet Grooming
3951 N Ashland Ave #1F, ChicagoWhen we first brought our dogs in, we were discouraged by previous groomers. At Trophy Paws, they received a very professional grooming. We are so thankful to have a place that does quality grooming. We love the staff. On Thor’s first groom, they told us he had something going on that wasn’t right. We had noticed Thor excessively scratching and he didn’t seem himself. The groomer called us and explained Thor had skin damage. We got him into the vet the very next day. Thor had a skin tag that he scratched and got infected. We are SO thankful they called and alerted us to his condition. They don’t just groom these dogs. They genuinely care for their well being. I wish I had better words to describe the level of professionalism and kindness of their groomers. In the next few months, we will be moving across town. I will still be taking them to Trophy Paws. They are worth the drive. Their products are the best quality. They actually smell and look amazing. Thank you Trophy Paws!! We are big fans ?

Animal House of Chicago
2752 W Lawrence Ave Unit #3, ChicagoI took my almost 12-year-old Siamese kitty to Animal House yesterday for a checkup. I'm embarrassed to admit that he had not been to a vet since 2018 - 6 years ago! I had previously taken my pets to Blum in Lakeview, where I lived until the fall of 2018, and just hadn't gotten around to finding a new vet in Lincoln Square before COVID hit, which caused many clinics (including Animal House, I think) to limit their services to only emergency cases for a while. Anyway, I appreciated that the staff at Animal House were not judgmental at all towards me when I contacted them to establish care for my cat after 6 years. Both during the appointment booking, and the appointment itself, all the staff I encountered were kind and professional. They mentioned what kind of tests they thought he should have but checked with me before running them, which is more than I can say for some money-hungry clinics I've been to in the past who do a whole lot of tests without telling you and you don't find out until you get the bill. The clinic was clean and not nearly as noisy as many vet clinics are. I also appreciated the Feliway-sprayed towels Animal House offers to help calm your pets while they're there. I'm pleased with the service Tino and I received and will return to Animal House again to establish care for my other kitty.

Majestic Paws Chicago
330 N Wabash Ave floor 23, ChicagoBest humans. Best service. Best experience. I recently had surgery and was desperate for someone to walk my big boy German Shepherd. I set up and appointment to discuss details and John the owner spoke with me same day. Since day one I had a wonderful experience with someone walking my boy and John was very empathetic to my situation as well. Both Chad and Ellen are amazing humans/walkers who my boy likes and he does not like everyone. I highly recommend Majestic Paws along with great service the system they use allows messaging and after walks you get a report with photos of the walk. I tried phoning other businesses who either took forever to get back to me or told me they don't do German Shepherds. It has been a great experience with my boy exhausted after long walks and my stress way down with trusted care. Bless everyone at Majestic Paws!!!

Back To Basics Dog Training
3232 N Elston Ave, ChicagoWenz is absolutely amazing! We are so thankful we did the behavioral modification training for our Golden Retriever pup that was going through her teenage phase. I highly recommend working with Wenz, who has a great understanding of how to train dogs at all ages with a loving, caring and gentle attitude. She has a lot of great tricks for barking and leash pulling. She helped us come up with alternatives whenever our pup was being stubborn or biting the leash in public places. As the dog parents, we also learned so much and we developed a stronger relationship with our pup. The best part was learning how to properly leash walk our puppy as well as how she should greet visitors. It’s so easy to walk our pup now around the neighborhood and she’s a lot calmer when we have friends over. We would definitely do it all over again.

We were initially trepidatious because we had never done anything like this for our dog. Now, walking Apollo is like walking with a brand new dog! They did such a great job working with him on his bad walking habits. They also worked with him on his separation anxiety--I was so impressed! The best part was seeing how happy Apollo was to see Ty and Kyle during our recap lesson; it really lets you know that your dog not only learned, but that the staff at Bow Wow treats the dogs beautifully. I am definitely going to continue his training with Bow Wow! he loved it and we love the results!

Leash Drop Canine LLC
2857 S Archer Ave, ChicagoHasani is more than your average dog trainer. He has an expert-level understanding of canine behavioral shaping and modification strategies. Virgil, our 11-month-old Doberman Pinscher, completed the 3 week board and train program. He was already a good boy, but still had some annoying puppy behaviors and needed more obedience in general, as he could be quite willful at times. When Virgil returned from the board and train, his behavior was vastly improved, and many of his annoying behaviors were virtually eliminated. He also acquired many new skills and commands that make it easier to manage him in any situation, and help him to better regulate fears and anxieties so that he is a more calm and confident dog.Hasani took a lot of time to really educate on how to interact with Virgil for the best results. I learned a lot about proper leash-handling, behavioral redirection, and productive play that I never would have considered, and haven’t heard from any other trainer or class. This continues into the generous follow-up sessions that he provides. We wanted Virgil to be the sort of dog that can be taken to public spaces, social gatherings, and on trips. Hasani certainly delivered on this. I would say that the program works for more than just dogs with problem behaviors, and is a great investment in providing the best quality of life for you and your dog. Hasani is patient, knowledgeable, and clearly brings a high level of integrity into his work.

Red Light Chicken is a quick, over the counter shack offering fried chicken sandwiches dipped in plain, hot, honey, or hot honey, chicken nuggets and shoestring fries. Everything was delicious! Hence the five stars. The chicken was fresh and well seasoned. Even the bun was fresh with the perfect meat to bun ratio. I could've easily housed two more myself they are that good. The fries give me McDonald's vibes in all the best ways; thin, crispy and fresh. The service was quick with an easy ordering process. Place your order at counter and wait for your number to be called. There are two tall standing type tables otherwise this is a grab and go or eat while standing joint. Worth the visit.

He gives you a lot of memories of your pet, it seems that he cares about the loss of your pet, he understands your pain, what you are going through at that moment and he is very respectful and is very punctual in giving you your pet on the date he tells you. I recommend it 100 %THANK YOU SO MUCH BOB for everything you did for our LUCKY AND NILO kittens.

New Leash On Life
4064 N Lincoln Ave #374, ChicagoCan't say enough good things about NLOL Chicago! I adopted Teddy from them 8 years ago, and to this day they still keep in touch with me and help me with any questions I might have! They are 100% volunteer run so they don't have an actual shelter facility, just their homes and their hearts. They genuinely enjoy hearing his updates and even seeing him at events over the years! If you have other pets in the home, of course they should be spayed/neutered to adopt another. That's a known fact of most reputable rescue organizations. :)

Red Door Animal Shelter
2410 W Lunt Ave, ChicagoOur bunnies stayed at the HareBnB last weekend for our wedding and loved it. They get their own little personalized cardboard house, classical music, a large ex pen and really awesome, friendly staff who know how to take care of them. The staff even send pictures and updates to let us know how our girls are doing. My husband and I feel so happy and comfortable knowing our bunnies are happy and comfortable during their stay.

Felines & Canines
6379 N Paulina St, ChicagoI cannot recommend Felines & Canines enough! My girlfriend and I adopted a kitten from here and the experience was phenomenal. They’ve got all the cats running loose in a big open room, which gives you the ability to meet all the cats and find one with a personality that fits. We were in and out with our new girl Millie in an hour and a half!

Chicago Canine Rescue
5272 N Elston Ave, ChicagoWonderful staff..unfortunately underfunded because the building, both inside and out, needs some love! They’re fantastic at pairing the perfect dogs to their new owners and we love their temporary foster system. They are a godsend to the community and to all of the animals :)

Doggy Paddle Aquatic Center For Dogs
1430 W Willow St, ChicagoThe staff did a lovely job acclimating my small dog to the water today. It was her first time swimming and I was prepared for her to be scared but her swim instructor was so good at encouraging her and helping her that she wanted to go back in the water by the time we left. Could not have had a better experience. Thank you!

LAST KISS At Home Pet Euthanasia And Cremation Services
3674 N Elston Ave, ChicagoLast Kiss is a great choice when it comes to at home euthanasia. This was our first time ever choosing to euthanize a pet at home and Last Kiss made it quick, painless, and peaceful. I will say that they had originally planned to come at 7pm but had some delays and ended up coming around 9pm- we understood things can happen (traffic, consoling clients, medical issues, ect.) so we weren't bothered by it and were just grateful that they still made their way over to help our family during such a difficult time! Thank you guys!

PAWS Chicago Medical Center & Lurie Clinic
3516 W 26th St, ChicagoIt's a long wait time for your pet to be seen however it is worth the wait. They do take care of your pet with care. Update. Finally went after 3 mth waiting. Very different from 2017. I admit waiting very long to get in and how they do it with the email is annoying however the ease this time is worth mentioning. Went in at time appointed called within 5 min and pickup same ease. I have Medicaid the total cost was 50 that included neuter and required vaccinations way up from the 5 I paid before. Even though the cost went up and to Set up appointment is difficult once said and done I would take my pet again.
