I was attempting to find a “rare” champagne, and although they were unable to acquire the wine due to import issues, the owner communicated with me extremely quickly and provided in great detail the unfortunate news. Great customer service and I will definitely be utilizing them for future wine purchases.

This place is spectacular. I went looking for a gift for someone else, and naturally left with 2 more bottles for myself ??♂️Wanted a nice bottle of Sancerre as a gift - Craig provided a reasonably priced, single vineyard bottle that my friend will LOVE.I’m not a wine expert, but I know what I like. I told Craig I like slatey, dry Alsatian wines - he DELIVERED with a delicious, crisp Riesling. Even more impressive in my opinion, I said I like full bodied reds that give… stink, musk, smoke, barnyard. CANNOT say how much of a bullseye he hit with this 2015 Campi Flegrei. It’s exactly what I like. Can’t wait to go back.

I do the wine club and browse online for pickup orders. Very pleased with the wines I've received, these wines come with well written notes on the winery and taste, very helpful for wine newbies like myself. Customer service from Jamie is stellar, I've called for recommendations while building my cart or even just advice on serving temperature for a past order. Very knowledgeable and genuinely positive person right there. I haven't been to the shop yet, but I'm am looking forward to it one of these times.

I adore this wine shop and the wines it sells! The wine was fantastic, as was the food. It was difficult not to return because we kept comparing it to them every time we went anywhere else, and the wine chosen by the staff was a pleasant surprise that I highly recommend!

Was scouring the globe for a very specific botanical GIN from Barcelona Spain - BCN GIN ( The producer suggested I reach out to Perman Wine. Communication and service couldn't be better. Looking forward our next chance to visit the windy city so that I can make an in-person visit, and deliver my personal gratitude for the service and selection. Thank you, Craig!!

We had a wonderful time meeting with my friends and learning about wines. We found the perfect ones for us. We highly recommended visiting this particular place if you want to find the perfect wines to take home and remind you of your trip to the place you want to go to. I really love this shop. So do you!

Wow, what a terrible experience! You would think customer service would be key, as the restaurant and wine shop industry are about to take a huge hit. I went to stock up on wine and was greeted by a disgruntled woman who told me to read the sign outside the door. They are only allowing one person in at a time due to health precautions. I actually prefer that. The sign mentioned pick ups only, so when I asked if I could still come in, I was told to "read the sign again." Wow! Despite that lovely greeting, I still went in because it was a necessity. Although, it was pointless because you can't look at any of their wine or touch it. Instead, you get a condescending woman telling what she thinks you might like. Hmmm okay. When I asked if they have a few specific wines, she says "we don't go by names we do things differently here". Okay, so without seeing wine how am I supposed to make a selection? Perhaps they go off of the wine point scale like most wine spots. Nope! They feel that's very subjective, so instead you should listen to their rude employee tell you what to pick. Not subjective at all. When asked if they have their inventory online I was told "do you want me to help or not?" NOT! If this is how they treat the small number of customers venturing out right now, imagine how they act when it's business usual!

Really interesting selection of wine and knowledgeable staff. If you want help discovering new wine or picking up wine to pair with a meal or course or BYOB then this place is great. They focus more on unique and hard to find wines with limited distribution (they definitely still carry a good amount of more widely distributed wines). If you are looking for a specific wine go to Binnys instead (much larger selection)

Not sure of the man's name but I came in one day and was searching for a specific wine and year ( they didn't have it ) so rather than recommended something similar he rudely was dismissive and then pointed to the floor and said that's the only inexpensive wine they had.
