Healthy. I would warn all pet lovers to avoid this clinic. My dog had a hip operation there, after the operation, which was poorly done, they didn't schedule a single examination, they didn't schedule any control, therapy. They don't care about animals, they only money matters. My advice is to avoid this place.

I was so happy to have found Paws and Feathers in my neighborhood when when I lived in Irving Park and I'm sad that they won't be my vet anymore only due to a move outside of the City.
I've always had a great experience and Dr. Sara always made me laugh.. she was great, as was the whole staff from front desk to techs.
My Yorkie and I will miss P&F!
We wish you all the best!

My poor service dog is now deaf. After going there, she can no longer take commands and they had the nerve to say she was always deaf when I took her in there.

Customers watch out!
This practice charges 6% on top of your bill if you use credit/debit cards. Which I find shocking. As a business owner of multiple businesses I have an extensive knowledge of card processing companies, and NONE of them charge that much, the highest you will find is 3.5% plus 10 cents on each transaction. Additionally as a business this falls under your expenses when you file your taxes, so it's legally deductible! So this place charges you extra AND deducts the total processing fees sum each year, easy cash ha? How greedy is that to put your expenses on your customers?! Especially when bills are high (up to $2000 sometimes), this is not an ice cream place with $5 charges! Who carries this much cash on them anyway, so obviously, they make a ton this way. I never put this on my customers, this is a cost of being in business! Shocking!
Also, they overbook. You felt relieved that they got you an appointment so quickly? Well that's because they book 2 people at once! you arrive, and you have to wait at least 30 minutes to be seen by the tech first. This is frustrating considering this is business, not charity. Work on your schedules, people. My dog is anxious, she struggles, I booked 2pm, I want to be seen at 2pm, not 2.43pm.
And the last, I never noticed any tech or dr. Sara actually making an effort to bond with a pet or be compassionate, they just don't act like people who love animals, everything is automatic, quick and cold.
They are good in basic services, vaccines and so on. In and out, here is your bill.

We always have a good experience visiting Paws and Feathers. The staff are so friendly and helpful and they treat my dog like their own. Dr. Sarah is wonderful and helps address all our concerns. Would recommend!

Dr Sarah’s care was lazy and do not expect to get access to your pet records should you ever decide to use a different vet.
if you have a reactive dog this place is a nightmare full of staff that has absolutely no concern on the comfort and safety of your pets.
we brought our dog here and explained numerous times that they were reactive and needed to wait in our car until a room was available. instead we were told to come inside just so we could wait 20 minutes past our scheduled time for a room while being forced into a corner with our dog feeling very stressed and scared (on top of not feeling well) as the waiting room filled up.
when we finally were seen Dr Sarah did absolutely no treatment.
We have been fighting for our pet’s records for 2 1/2 weeks now (they are legally required to give them to you within 5 days)After numerous attempts to receive them we finally just filed a complaint with the state licensing board.
This place isnt worth the headache.

Sarah saved my dog’s life, he choked while eating a bone. Xray and additional help was done in couple minutes after we arrived.

I love this place. After taking my exotic to an emergency vet who said they could handle and finding out they had no real idea what they were doing I started panicking trying to find someone to help. Paws and feathers were able to take me in that day keep me calm and help my sugar glider. Absolutely everyone there was so sweet to me. I will be conti long any future care for my animals there!

I know this place has mixed reviews. But the best thing about this place is, you know your vet, you know they are gonna tell you the truth, and you know they are gonna do everything they can to help you pets. My cat has cancer and they performed a surgery that extended his life so much more than we thought. We knew the cancer would likely come back, and when it did, they gave me all the information and advice I needed to keep me calm and help me understand his prognosis. This is not what corporate vets will offer. They are a small business with a good vet. Give them a chance. Scheduling may be difficult sometimes but small businesses can only do so much and you gotta be patient. Thank you guys for all your help with my little guy!

Please go somewhere else. These people are not here to help you, their here for a check. Horrible experience all around , and trying to get ahold of them is the worst

I've been to 3 vets before I found this place. LOVE this place. Everyone is super nice. And they don't try to upsell you on tests/meds/procedures like every other vet does.
Their prices are reasonable too!

I have never had a negative experience here. Dr. Sarah is wonderful. I feel that she genuinely cares for my pets. You don’t get that everywhere you go unfortunately.
