this review is LONG overdue. I came to Pawn Chicago about a year ago to sell my gaming laptop. As expected, the offer was lower than my ask but what I really appreciated was the explanation of the price they offered me for my item. They helped me understand how they go about the offers they throw at you and, if you’re open minded, you can see that no one is trying to pull the rug from under you.Thank you Pawn Chicago for making the sale of my laptop smooth and efficient! I will see you next time I have an item I need to sell.

This is absolutely the best pawn shop that I have ever visited! The staff is exceptional and the store is so full of collectibles that it was kind of overwhelming when you first walk in. Truly, I almost fainted; being a collector myself! It's important that I note that the majority of their collection is not for sale.The staff was very professional and courteous and treated me with respect. I truly like the fair, accessed value of my loan. It was much more than I thought I would receive. He also clearly explained the cost and I liked that you can pay down the loan principal like a credit card.

Visited for first time and their gaming selection is phenomenal and great prices! Walked out with an Xbox. Would definitely come back to get more!

Don't rely on their posted hours. I've been here twice during their listed business hours to find the place shuttered and dark. If they can't show people who work 8-5 any courtesy, there doesn't seem to be any reason to spend your money here.
