I live down the block and there have been a couple of times I stop in to just pick up Bananas. They don't have them. Just a few black ones in wrapped in plastic. Or crisco. They don't have it. This store is the saddest, most empty store I've ever seen. Too bad, because living just down the block it would be nice just to grab produce or other items I run short of when cooking/baking. Be nice if new management came in and fixed the impassable freezer aisle and stocked the shelves/produce. It's just depressing in this store.

I'm not sure what happened to this place since the review 5 years ago but this place is a dump. It is so disgusting I wouldn't even buy canned food here. The meat coolers were warm. The freezers were falling apart. Shelves half empty. Limited produce and half of what was displayed was prepackaged in wasteful plastic probably an attempt to hide the rot. I can only hope this place is closing because it is filthy and a health hazard. It needs to be shut down by the city if it isn't closing on it ms own.

I always visit this place to buy rare spices and sauces from South America. They also have a large collection of meats and Hispanic junk food. Place needs to be cleaner.

this place is decent, but good. i have been shopping there for over 7 years. they have a lot of ethnic foods & some good meat- at a really low price. the issue is that they don't have many things you could find at jewels or rogers market, and the fruit isn't quality.?
