Dangerous Living Conditions and Unresponsive Management at Park Wellington Apartments
Our experience at Park Wellington Apartments was a disaster from start to finish. A leak coming from the apartment above quickly escalated into a mold infestation, which severely affected our health. The smell of the leak was absolutely horrendous and we were sleeping right beside it every night. Despite the urgency of the situation, it took over two weeks for a plumber to arrive because management claimed it wasn't an emergency.
The building manager, repeatedly ignored our calls and emails for help, allowing the situation to deteriorate even further. The mold continued to spread, making our apartment uninhabitable. In the end, we had no choice but to break our lease and move out for the sake of our health and safety. I would like to note as well that when came back to get our few remaining items, there were workers in our apartment painting over the mold.
I cannot stress enough how dangerous and poorly managed this apartment complex is. If you value your health and well-being, avoid Park Wellington Apartments at all costs.

The Senior Manager Zerlina Kennedy is absolutely amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable, punctual, and thorough. I really enjoyed my tour with her and appreciate how responsive she is!

As a resident of park Wellington for over 10 years now.....I have to be honest.....it's been a roller coaster ride. Mostly due to the revolving door of building managers that start new in the position, and then quit or transfer after a few months. So refurbishment or repair projects would never get done or they would be delayed being "handed off" to the next new manager. Very frustrating to the tenants.
However, with all of that said, the current building manager at Park Wellington… Zerlina Kennedy has been wonderful! She has been here in the position for over a year now which is the longest any manager has stayed and she's had to deal with a lot of issues… Mostly maintenance issues since the building is over 100 years old. She looks out for her tenants and very prompt to return emails and or phone calls with any concerns a tenant may have. She does so with such a professional etiquette. She is kind, organized, and does the best she can with the tools and resources given to her by TLC.
I know that she brings (I believe if not mistaken) over 20 years in the property management industry......and it shows. ?

This place is absolutely incredible! I just moved in and the area is spectacular, the landlord is fantastic and the studios are amazing!If a unit is available and you’re looking to move in, Mrs. Kennedy is amazing! She is very quick answering questions and is extremely reliable if there are issues you may be having! She does everything in her power to make sure that all of the tenants are happy! I’ve only been here for four days and she is by far the best landlord I’ve ever had!To put it simply Park Wellington apartments is great!

I would be cautious of this place in my opinion. I’ve seen several roaches in the hallway as well as my apartment. The icing on the cake is maintenance being in my apartment without my knowledge and the landlord’s (because when I brought it to her attention she told me she had no idea he was in my apartment) and coincidentally my envelope of money comes up missing. There was no email sent to me prior that maintenance would be in my apartment like there has been in the past and I for sure did not put in a work order; Fixing blinds is not an emergency either so there should be no reason for maintenance to be in said apartment abruptly. Unfortunately the police wasn’t able to do anything because there’s no camera on my floor (how convenient) and it was cash that was stolen. Packages are always stolen from the mailroom all the time as well, including mines. The office hours clearly states the closing time is 6pm but the landlord is always leaving before that time :). Something is always broken including the doors. As of right now the second entrance door has been broken for about a month, so much for a sense of security in your own place of residence. The hallways ALWAYS smell of garbage, funk, feces, weed, and more.I hope this helps someone

I’ve met Ms. Kennedy today! She is a very nice lady. She has showed me a few 1 bed room apartments and she knows exactly how to do her job. I can’t wait to move into Park Wellington Apartments soon!
