It’s hard to justify going in. It’s hard to justify leaving empty-handed. That’s Paper Source for you, and the Armitage Ave location is no exception. The store is tidy, the staff are friendly, and you’re bound to spend $28 on such items as an individual notebook, pen, or desk calendar just by taking an innocent lap around the store. There’s no one to blame but yourself—it was you who decided to start bullet journaling every day in the new year, you who believed calligraphy could be your gateway to creative release, and you who’s convinced yourself that every colored pen is one step closer to organizational nirvana in work and life.So go in, take your lap, and take the blame. Enjoy the first 8 pages of that Moleskine.

I have never once left a review before but feel this one is warranted. My family loves Paper Source but we will not be returning to this location. We walked in with six excited but well-behaved kids, all over 7-years-old, who know how to behave in stores (including two teenage girls that shop often!). I was so incredibly disappointed that, from a store that has small toy and gift sections, we were greeted as though we had brought lions in with us to shop. My husband and I were with the youngest two to make sure anything they looked at was put back in place and orderly. Despite this, the staff was not welcoming, made us feel so uncomfortable, and one clerk was incredibly rude to the point that I asked her if children were not allowed in the store, given her reaction. Please do better - the kids are the reason we make purchases at Paper Source, so if you can't appropriately interact with them, please at least don't treat them like piranhas.

Had a really lovely experience when I popped in for a bit tonight. I forgot to ask the name of the person we were talking to, but she was really kind and friendly. Had a conversation about paper textures and she offered different wrapping options to make it easy to carry with me :)

Well stocked paper source, with all of the knick knacks you expect from paper source. More small gifts and toys, tote bags, candles, etc. The true stationary selection is more limited than I feel it should be for the stores goal. Good for gift wrap and gift bags. All aspects of the store are only accessible by stairs. There are upstairs and downstairs check out counters but when I was there the upstairs one was the only one open.

Pricey but they have a great selection of cards! Staff was friendly and helpful. They are also a drop off point for Happy returns which is hugely convenient.

Lovely store with a bunch of fun and unique items especially if you're looking for a gift and don't want the same old humdrum department store things. A bit on the pricey side for some things but they have some pretty unique items and customer service is always very good.

They sell some nice things, and the store is fun to look through, but I would say it veers more towards gift shop not stationary store. The selection on notebooks and writing utensils is meager for the size of the store. I was dissapointed.
