We held our wedding this past Friday 03/15 at Ovation Chicago and could not have been any more happier!On April 24, 2018, 6 years ago, I screenshot a post from Ovation Chicago on instagram and knew I wanted to had to get married there one day. This was 3 years before I even met my husband. Fast forward to March 2024 and we had our dream wedding.Spencer and his entire team were beyond helpful, organized, and very patient throughout the entire process. The day of, the team was on point with everything and readily available to assist with anything needed. Max, our DJ, executed our vibe for the party and kept everyone dancing all night long. Our entire vision was exactly what we imagined and couldn't be more grateful. Even several days later, we are still getting compliments on how much fun our guests had! We are over the moon and highly recommend this venue for your next party! Thanks Ovation!

Ovation was the perfect venue for our January wedding! You barely need to decorate because it's so beautiful as it is (disco ball, string lights, votive candles, etc.) It's also incredibly practical with their amenities (built in sound system, bar, bridal suite, photo booth!). Spencer and his team are easy to communicate with and super helpful throughout our planning process- we found many of our other vendors through his recommendations. Brian made our video wall, seating chart and photo montage beautifully. Also can't forget the value of having a DJ from Style Matters as part of the deal, thank you Ryan for bringing the dance floor to life! Couldn't have pictured a better venue for us!

Ovation is BUILT to be the perfect wedding venue in Chicago!The space seamlessly transitions from one part of the day to the next, all while guests enjoy themselves. The unique architecture allows couples to be flexible with their decor, whether they choose to go all out or have minimal pieces. Easy parking, great staff, and the best DJs in town are included! I can't wait to photograph more weddings here in the future.

This might be the one !!!!!! Great location, same owner as the Green Loft…. But larger and more elegant. Great ambience. The package here is more appealing , the AV screens are large and just tasteful… it has a piano already , as we were thinking of hiring a string quartet with piano for cocktail hour and the package includes Photo Booth and a Rolls Royce to be used by the couple for a 30 minute ride post ceremony, then they park to allow for pictures for guest etc. We like this one. Held a date , but two more before we decide ❤️❤️❤️❤️the excitement is building!!!!

A friend of mine got married here and it was an absolute blast! I was a little worried because the DJ came with the venue but this was the best wedding DJ I’ve ever experienced. He played a ton of Latin music, making her extended family feel comfortable & enthusiastic. He transitioned the evening from upbeat disco at the beginning, to 2000’s hip hip to electronic music. It was truly incredible like being at a club perfectly curated to the bride and groom. Most people danced the whole night, everyone has a great time! If your guests are up for an epic dance party, this is an awesome venue!The rest of the Ovation staff was welcoming, friendly and professional as we’re their required vendors.I wasn’t involved in the planning so I can’t speak to that process but they day of went smoothly and we had a great time!

Ovation gave us the most amazing backdrop to the best day of our lives. Like most couples, this was the first vendor we booked and we could not be happier with that decision. Spencer and his team were all amazing to work with - super responsive, experienced, and transparent with us along the whole process. As we went on to book the rest of our vendors, Ovation always received high praises from everyone proving we had made the best decision for our big day. The space is so well planned out, from the way the speaker system is set up to the size of the kitchen for catering plus and all the amenities and perks that come with it (DJ Style Matters, rentals, bridal suite, photo booth, Rolls Royce) are sure to make your wedding memorable for you and all of your guests!

What an amazing venue! We had our wedding here last weekend and everything was absolutely perfect from the moment we toured it. We choose it after looked through a ton of venues mainly because of how transparent and upfront everything was with pricing and what was included (we were getting overwhelmed and this place just had all the info right there). When we saw the beautiful space we knew it was the right spot for us. First- they were so easy to work with, very low key but responsive and put our minds at ease. We asked for recommended caterers and they gave us a list- (We chose Amazing Edibles who were also fantastic!). They include the graphic design for the big screen welcome image and seating chart and wow was that 10x better than expected! We told the designer, Brian, our general vibe and he completely nailed it, it looked so good! We sent a list of our preferred music (this was important for us) and Spencer picked out our DJ, Ryan who was perfect for this event. At one point I think every single person at the wedding was dancing- old and young. Not only these folks but those staffing the event itself were incredible. There was so many small details I feel like I had forgotten to plan but the Ovation folks knew exactly what to do like setting us all up to walk down the aisle and working the curtains for us etc. Diego took us around in the Rolls and was totally fun and easy going as well, the security guys were great and the other girl there (I'm so sorry I forgot all these people's names as the day was crazy) was awesome too.The venue was gorgeous at night, the tables were so perfect and gave the aesthetic we were looking for and all our guests were super impressed with how classy and beautiful everything was. We got so many glowing comments about the whole affair afterward about how well we must have planned but tbh I feel like Ovation and Amazing Edibles really did all the heavy lifting! Photo booth was an absolute hit as well and those pictures are my favorites of the night. Save yourself a huge headache and let Ovation take the wheel. Thank you guys so much!

As wedding planners, we recently had the pleasure of organizing Monique and Bennett's wedding at the stunning Ovation in Chicago. It was an absolutely beautiful event, and we couldn't be happier with the venue. The staff, including Spencer, Brian, and Diego, did an exceptional job in managing all the additional changes requested by the bride and groom. They were truly amazing and ensured everything ran smoothly. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, and we were thrilled to see how everything came together seamlessly. It was a remarkable experience overall.

We got married at Ovation on June 10th, 2023. From the second we walked in during the tour, we knew it was the place for us. It really is a "blank slate" and can be tailored to any vision you may have. Spencer and has team were amazing! He was quick to respond to emails and very helpful with any questions that came up. The graphic designer, Brian, did a fantastic job with the welcome sign design on the TVs, the slideshow during the dinner and the design of the photo booth strip. They also worked very well with all of our other vendors! We were able to bring in all our vendors which was a huge plus (saves a lot of money on alcohol!). There were so many great amenities that came with the venue!The photo booth was a hit and we have a book with all the printed out strips, which will be great to look back at!The Rolls Royce was amazing and we used it to ride from where we were taking photos to the venue. We did stop along the way to get some amazing photos under the L tracks on Lake!DJ Style Matters had Shaun DJ our reception and he was fantastic! We talked before the wedding to go over everything and how we wanted the night to go. We wanted the music to keep the dance floor going all night and he did not disappoint! Absolutely amazing sound system!A huge curtain kept the areas for dinner and cocktail hour separate, which was amazing because we were able to do a reveal.The bridal suite was a nice bonus. Great place to store bags and other item and to just get away to relax for a little bit!We would definitely recommend Ovation for any event, especially a wedding!

We knew that Ovation was the perfect venue for our wedding from the moment we stepped inside. The space is welcoming, well thought out, and versatile. There is so much included that adds to Ovation's value!Spencer and his team are responsive and provide a wealth of information that makes planning events easier.Ovation looks beautiful without any added decor, so anything else added to the space goes even further. The built-in buffet table is perfect for a quick and organized way to feed many guests. The curtain system allowed us to section off areas for different phases of the evening (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception) and allowed our photographer to make great use of the space for portraits.The televisions and projector really allowed us to cut down on printed materials and made seating a breeze! Ovation's graphic designer, Brian, made sure that everything displayed aligned with our vision and the design on our invitations.Style Matters DJ Duke was phenomenal. He met with us before our wedding to understand our vision and his execution was perfect. We were thrilled with the professional sound system--it ensured we had no issues with microphones during the ceremony or speeches.The included photo booth was a real hit with everyone and has given us all special photos that we will cherish for a lifetime. Our guests also thoroughly enjoyed Ovation's game room, which is perfect for kids or anyone who doesn't favor a dance floor. We had fun doing a photoshoot in Ovation's Rolls Royce out in front of the venue before the ceremony. We appreciated the option to ride in it between the ceremony and reception, but opted to use that time to inhale appetizers up in the green room instead :)We are so happy with how everything went and cannot recommend Ovation (and Spencer and his team) enough!**All photos by our amazing photographer King & Opal!**

We are SO happy we went with this for our wedding venue! The space is gorgeous, everyone at Ovation is so easy to work and the sound system/music was a hit! We also have gotten compliments on the car, the dancing videos that were played on the video screen during dancing and the vintage photo booth. I could go on and on, book Ovation!

Ovation was a dream venue for us for our April 2023 wedding! We wanted a speakeasy, industrial vibe that would be perfect for swing dancing (which is how my husband and I met), and it was! The space comes with so many included perks that makes it an incredible value - vintage Rolls Royce, photobooth, Steinway piano, BYOB policy, open catering list...and the attention to sustainability was such a plus! Spencer and Brian were super responsive throughout our planning process, which was so appreciated. I will say, it was a little difficult to schedule our final walkthrough but once we got there, Brian put us at ease and was so helpful in answering all our questions. We also LOVED our DJ, Max! He did a great job with our unique mix of swing dancing music, Ukrainian and Mexican music, and modern hits. We loved getting digital copies of our photobooth pictures a few days after our wedding, too - so sweet to get to look back at the fun our friends and family had! Highly recommend!

Our wedding day at Ovation was better than we could've ever imagined and was perfectly "us"!! From the day my (now husband) and I toured Ovation back in 2021, we knew we found the perfect venue. We loved that we were able to personalize things to fit our vision and loved the perks that came with the rental like the graphic design, DJ, photobooth, and Rolls Royce. Brian's graphic design came together beautifully and complimented our decor perfectly. The DJ Max was awesome, fit our taste to a T, and the dance floor was packed all night long!! We are still getting compliments from our friends and family about how rarely they left the dance floor- my dad said he was sore the next day, haha! We loved taking the Rolls Royce for a quick ride and got some super unique photos under the L tracks, and really enjoyed going through all of the photobooth pictures that our guests took! Brian and Nicole were extremely helpful the day of and helped take away any stress we had so we were able to enjoy every moment of our big day. Our guests were extremely complimentary of our entire wedding, raving about the ceremony, venue, reception, and flawless execution of the setup, flip, dance floor, and genuinely great time that they had.When we completed the venue’s questionnaire back in February, we wrote that when it's all said and done, we wanted our guests to say, "Wow, that was a blast! BEST WEDDING I've ever been to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Two months later, after reflecting on our once in a lifetime day, we can confidently say that they made that happen!We cannot recommend Ovation enough and will be forever grateful to them for making our day the most joyful and memorable one of our lives. :)
