Great shop to get any type of work done. Family owned and run which is awesome. Tom is a great guy and has a seemingly unlimited memory when it comes to anything with a motor. Really knows his stuff. Top notch work at very fair prices.

This is my mechanic - period. Tom, his son, and his wife run this place. It's been a family business for decades now. Tom is a good, honest, hard-working man and is very interested in providing good service for his customers. He often bends flexibly - in the favor of the customer - when it comes to how many hours of labor to charge if he ends up having to spend a lot of time on one single project. He is the absolute polar opposite of nickle-and-diming someone... if that were a verb, or a polar end. We moved to Humboldt Park away from this area of the city a little over a year ago, but we still bring our van to him and take CTA to go pick it up later, because we trust him and his work.

Not a great day for an air tire pressure check. The clerk lady working there pulled the cable away from my hands. (Today was below 0 degrees) I called her on the phone for a mangers name and she just hanged up on me. Never going back, I really hope she is not an owner.

Genuinely kind business people. They accepted my car even though they were booked solid and had it repaired the next day. I was desperate and unknowledgable about the repairs my car needed, and they could have overcharged me, but did not. I will bring my car there again, because I trust them.
