I will never use this company - they blocked my driveway while moving my neighbor, not just with their van but with the crew who set up a wood saw table to make wood frames for the move process and laid them out on the road blocking the public street outside MY driveway. They also left their smelly lunch remnants in MY garbage cans JUST after the weekly pick up so it now needs to sit in my garage for a SOLID WEEK! If this is the attention they pay to the neighbors un broad daylight, I can only imagine how they treat a customer's belongings when they aren't looking.

They’re thieves, don’t let them around your valuables without supervision. Thousands of dollars worth of power tools that went missing from my move that they won’t reimburse me for.

Beware – this company is misleading and does not follow through in good faith. I used New World to move and there was minor damage to my residence. I was told by the crew that I should call and let my moving coordinator know. I was then misled and told to sign paperwork, which just applied to the condition of the physical items. I called the moving coordinator, who said they would flag the issue and I could submit a report of any damaged items and property once my move was completed.Once everything arrived, I filled out a damage form the following day. I was only allowed to fill out one form for both damage to the residence and items. I completed the form noting the damage to the residence – then I was told by New World that I needed to note any damage within 24 hours of the move and submit it to them. I had one opportunity to fill out a claim form for both items and residence damage. If I filled out the form and noted property damage right away, I would have lost the opportunity to file a claim for damage to my items. Or, I waited to see if there was damage to items, but then I lost the opportunity to note property damage. This company is not trustworthy and I cannot recommend you use them. If you do, you risk damage to your home and personal property with no recourse.

My move was scheduled as part of a relocation package for work. After the walk-through with the new world rep., I was informed that additional costs would be incurred with some of my items to move. One item was a glass door that I use. The item costs $100 but the crating cost came in north of $300 with an additional uncreating cost of $77 on the receiving end. This was NOT disclosed until the day that the movers arrived! I selected not to have this item crated and shipped yet it was shipped anyway. I'm being contacted about payment for this item and have informed this third party that I will not pay for this item. Resolution has not been made but new world van lines claim that they are " "The Professional Mover...With the Personal Touch". Additional costs were brought up at the onset of discussions about my move with new world. Each additional cost discussed, I declined. This would have been no different yet this was never discussed. Seems that my "Personal Touch" has been forgotten. Because of the additional costs, I have had to change plans and not fully relocate as intended. Instead I have found renters to occupy the residence. The full relocation will happen later but I will NOT be using new world van lines Inc. for this move. In fact, I would recommend AGAINST using this company at all! I have been relocated for work before and this has been the absolute worst experience! I will be discussing and lobbying my company to use another moving company since this experiences if fraught with additional fees and incomplete information. Only after inquiry are additional charges discussed. It has the feel of deception on the part of new world to drive uninformed movers into paying for additional and hidden relocation costs even though the move is covered and conducted by an employer. Personal Touch really means charging and penalising movers additionally based on what you have.

Movers busted a sprinkler line on my back patio. I filed a claim and was denied as they didn't frequent the area???? I guess they just grabbed my patio furniture and floated to the moving truck. Took them a month to complete the investigation too. Highly don't recommend purely based on their lack of integrity. Wasn't even about the money to repair it but just pure accountability...sad

We used New World Van Lines for a corporate move from Indiana to Seattle. While our move isn't completed yet, I have to leave a review for the packing and loading crew. I have moved several times and I have never had movers show up on time. This crew came early both days! They were so efficient and kind that it made me feel reassured our things were in good hands.

hello, my name is christopher fountain, and i am a professional truck driver, of 21 years verifiable experience. unfortunately, i had the experience of working for new world van lines. at this current time, i have a complaint in with the department of labor, i have a complaint in with the eeoc, and also the department of transportation and the internal revenue service. first of all, my number is 954-309-3210, i asked that anyone with questions feel free to reach out to me. it's only fair. now, i work for this company, and this company was supposed to provide me with help to do the moving jobs. upon working for this company, i was hired by eddie marx, iii. he convinced me to get back into the moving industry, i was reluctant to doing it but i did. i flew out to california and that is when eddie started calling me names. they tried to run me like a slave, and told me about, their vehicle, and 18 wheeler and how the def fluid tank was disconnected. he told me to lie to the department of transportation if i get pulled over and if i get questioned. now i wish i would have taped recorded him, because i could not believe what he was telling me to do. he said that if you fill up the tank one time it will look as if the tank is full all the time. he informed me that he had a mechanic disconnect the def tank on the truck which, is a violation of department of transportation laws. and, is a direct, "violation"! he was telling me to drive in personal conveyance, which is also against the law when i had a loaded trailer with a shipment on it and no true reason to be. then it gets worse. i moved to family by the last name of plunkett. they were mixing alcoholic drinks from the minute i got on the job. they were completely intoxicated to the point of almost needing medical attention. my moving help that i did not know that was provided to me by new world van lines showed up in indiana to move them and took their furniture apart. why? i truly really don't know we were just moving from indiana to chicago area. i get to the move in chicago to deliver their furniture. and that's when the problems really started beginning worse than ever. the family was drinking alcohol again. mr plunkett came home from work, i believe and started drinking immediately. the help quits on the job of mine when i was paying them $280 a day each. chris wilson was provided to me by the company new world van lines. he took cigarette breaks every 5 to 10 minutes on the job, showed up late to begin with, and then wanted to leave at 3:00 in the afternoon. i was officially back in the moving business. except for when i did it the help was reliable. they were trustworthy and dependable for that cash. i had no professional movers at all and the plunkett family started yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs at me the truck driver about their furniture not being able to be put back together but yet, not every box was unpacked. it's going to get a lot better. mr a plunkett tries to fist fight me and his backyard almost. that is when i threw in the towel and decided to walk off the job myself. no one likes to move military and i sure as hell never did. but to yell at me over furniture that i had no control over on the pickup origin, these people were too intoxicated for me to even talk to about their move. i walked off the job after a long 12-hour day. i do another job the next day and grayslake, illinois. chris wilson from the day before was supposed to be on the job. he never showed up. i'm there at 7:00 a.m. waiting on help. no one showed up till 12:00 noon. i was injured in the back of the trailer, by a letterpress falling on my chest because it was improperly loaded on the trailer to begin with. it hurt me very badly that i called the company and spoke to the manager there, eddie marx iii, and he told me to walk it off and that don't act like you, don't know how to move furniture. i told him that i was hurt very badly. he threatened me of my job and said that if you leave the job without the trailer being unloaded w

The mover's, while packaging items, slammed stuff around and were very careless. In addition, the items were supposed to arrive within 15 days... it's been over 15 days (close to 1 month now) and they still haven't confirmed a delivery date. I called and they said it was the highest priority to get is scheduled and they'd call me back... haven't heard a thing... If you are looking for a moving company, I suggest looking elsewhere. I typically don't write reviews, but felt that others shouldn't have to experience, what I am still going through, with All Around Van Lines for their move.

Terrific! My wife and I are team drivers for North American Van Lines. We were able to park at this location and shuttle our job into the city w/o hassle. Incredible hospitality. Thank you.

Give us $2500 or we keep your stuff, and don't expect to get it any time soon. They pulled the classic moving company bait-and-switch scam:New World under-quotes the weight of your move. Then when they have your things, they tell you it is over weight and you owe them, otherwise you wont get your stuff. The extra $2500 would have been fine with me up-front, but unfortunately they took their time to deliver our stuff, leaving us without even a chair to sit on for over a month.
