Yes, it is cluttered and dirty, but the prices are low and the selection is eclectic. Adjust your expectations: treat it more like a thrift shop than a convenience store and you'll be alright.

Would not recommend this store! It's not just that the store is disorganized, but the products are so filthy that I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing them into my home (see photos.) Left the store feeling like I needed a shower. Definitely a fire hazard as well!Also note that nothing is $1, prices vary per product. Not a dollar store. Literally anything else would be an improvement to the neighborhood.

Needed taper candle holder and very hard to find during holidays. Was heading into Fresh Market to grab mint so decided to peek into this store. Second time in this store. 1st time I was overwhelmed by the clutter. However I realized this guy has a little bit of everything. Turns out he had lots candles and the tapered candle holder (sorry I got the last 2) for a good price. If you need emergency candles or tealight candles, this spot has you covered. Tip: Manager is very friendly. Save time by asking him where to find what you need. If you are OCD or hate crowded areas, avoid this store. Prices are good and random but totally worth it, if you can find something unique at a good price.

first of all, the man at the counter was wonderful; he was courteous, helpful, and honest. originally, this was going to be a 2☆ review but the current 1☆ reviews for this store don't reflect it accurately. yes, the store is heavily disorganised but there are some unique items within the clutter that make it worth the trip. yes, there are some items that are overpriced but there are also items that are cheaper than what they'd be elsewhere. plus, there's a walgreens within a 5-minute walking distance so if you encounter any unfair prices here, just pick up those items from the walgreens.

Store attendant very helpful and pleasant. This is a dollar plus store. Has everything you can imagine. Also has great candles for all type of intentions. One of my favorite stores to go to!! This store is not for everyone it is a bit cluttered. Has everything!!!I love it and everyone there is super nice and helpful.

This dollar store has been around for a long time in Chicago, IL. They have been a staple of the community since I can remember. The place has always been small and they offer a variety of things. I don't understand why people would take their time to tell them to organize it. We should be helping small business not bashing it. If you don't like it, simply leave they ultimately did nothing to you. Thanks for being a long time part of our community in Bucktown, a hidden gem !

When you first step in you might get a little bit scared but do not fear this place has so many unique products at amazing prices my wife shops there regularly and the owner is such a nice guy it'll make you want to keep coming back
