My wife just came back from this neon store. She was crying. The owner was so rude to her. My wife was trying to do a favor for her brother and get a sign he had bought from Amazon repaired. she told him she thought the sign was probably a piece of junk. He open the box and plugged it in and start it so then he said all your brother wants me to do is put it together. He gave her the sign back, would not give her the box back, and told her never to come backI really do not understand why he could just not have said something nicer. All she was trying to do is help her brother.

Me and my boyfriend walked in earlier today and complete ghost town! We were there for like 5 to 7 mins Noone was in that store at all to help us smh such a shame we were excited to purchase but never-mind.

I had an old beer sign neon that I cracked on of the glass tubes. I brought it into the store to get fixed. Tom was very polite and informed me he could repair my sign. He informed me of the signs est value and what it would cost

If you are interested in neon at all then you will love this place. Filled to the brim with all kinds of fun neon signs. When I lived in Chicago I would pop in to this store on occasion just to check out all the goods. Fascinating.

Brought a neon clock for repair, a few years ago now. Got it back with the clock broken and the wrong color of neon. Overcharged and all they wanted to do was to argue that it wasn't their fault. Buyer beware.

Awesome shop. Last of it's kind of a dwindling profession. Tom owns and operates the shop, mostly by himself. Makes quality real neon signs at a fair price. Does custom work too, be prepared to bring in your own quality schematic though. Or stop by to look at some other work he's done and has on display for purchase as is. Not many other neon shops left in Chicago.

Brought a neon clock a few years ago for neon repair. Clock motor worked great before I dropped it off, then didn't work when I picked it up. I specified that it was blue argon color, got it back in bright orange neon. Took no responsibility for any problems, they just wanted to argue about that, obviously another "Chicago Way" kind of place.

This is a great place to take photographs late at night, as the windows are lit up with a wide variety of neon signs.
