After running my credit and seeing that I wasn't where I want to be yet, I asked for improvement tips and even for a referral for someone who works with rentals. I haven't heard anything back since I'm not worthy of a commission check. Disappointed.

I was given an appointment well so I thought but when I called to confirm they didn't have me in the schedule and none of the info that I had given to the receptionist was in the system. I said no problem let's do this all over and I'm still waiting to get a call back! I have tried several times to schedule an appointment and each time they say someone will get back to me it's been 3wks and I have yet to receive a call

They're very unprofessional and mismanage. I've been the buyer and seller with them and both occasions have been bad experiences. As the buyer, little to no miscommunication from your loan officer. They lie about not charging you administrative points. They sell off your loan to another company after a few months. Took 7 weeks to close which is ridiculous on a single family home. As the seller for a property, I sold two properties which NL represented the buyer. On both transactions, NL delayed the closing to 7-8 weeks on a normal 30 day closing. I don't see why buyers will go to them while they can go to a 1st tier financial lender like CHASE, BANK OF AMERICA, or other major banks. Realtor agents stop referring your clients to them!!! BUYER BEWARE!

I had a great experience with neighborhood loans. I was back and forth between them and another lender when it came to refinancing our home. Johnny Shabani was very patient and broke everything down for me. A friend recommended him to me and I’m glad we chose this company. The whole process was super simple and surprisingly fast.

I've bought many properties in my lifetime. Never have I ever seen such incompetent people in my life . Two weeks before I close I get a call at 9 pm From ANDY GASTON stating he didn't lock my rate and the rate jumped . He then proceeded to tell me Bc I was negotiating there bogus "1295 loan origination " fee and it was my fault .. anyone reading this stay far away from neighborhood Loans and stay far away from ANDY GASTON

Absolutely horrible. Pre-approval letter is meritless. They wait until last minute right before closing to actually see if a candidate is qualified. Incompetent. If you want to waste $ on an inspection, EM, lawyer, and any loan costs, go with Neighborhood loans.

I would not recommend at all. It took almost two months to close, keep in mind that I have outstanding credit and was very quick to turn around their request. I would look at other options.

If I could give them more stars, I would! From the start we were greeted by Saul Pinela very kindly. He answered every single one of my annoying anxiety driven questions that any first time homebuyer probably has. He made us feel very comfortable and made everything easy peasy, so much so that my husband and I thought it couldn’t be that simple to get a pre- approval. Well here we are about a month and a half later(including our 2 week vacation) with our new home. Norma Camargo also worked with us and let me say that these two are great! They would call us back with answers right away, responded after hours, and honestly went above and beyond. I would highly recommend neighborhood loans and especially Saul and Norma. Thank you guys again, you guys have made our dream finally a reality and made it so easy that I couldn’t tell any other new homebuyer that purchasing a house is stressful because they honestly made it so non stressful. Thank you guys!
