Great place to work!Amazing support from leadership and everyone is a joy to work with. The culture within the company is unlike any other title company I have worked for. Extremely encouraging and supportive of progressing your career and giving you the tools you need to be effective in your current role.

ATTENTION: If you need to use a Title Company, do not use this one. My wife and I had a seamless process when it came to purchasing our home! Our realtor was great, lender was amazing, ALSO OUR ATTORNEY, the seller and GC combo are very nice people but this title company? It was not a good experience. The closing was running smoothly up until closing day but typically should take an hour or so tops. So why were we there for over 2 hours? Simply because Debra at the Title company lacks the technological fortitude to get things done. Simple. Leading up to the closing, her communication was poor to the title company and to our lawyer. When they requested information, it was like pulling teeth. So the day of the closing, all she had to do was review the docs (one star b/c she caught two pages that were not signed and the other star b/c the office was clean and sanitized) then scan and send over to the title company. She decided to piece meal the portions of the paperwork, scan and send over in bunches. In the process, she missed scanning a few pages that the Title Company needed. They had to call her and walk her through what she needed. In the process she was huffing and puffing as if they were asking her for blood. DO YOUR JOB SCAN IT ALL AS ONE DOCUMENT AND SEND OVER. Their fees were on par with other title companies. What a way to put a partial damper on what should've been a seamless, happy day.

Worst closing experience ever with Near North National Title. Their communication was so poor that they regularly left the majority of the critical responders off the emails e.g. Attorney's, broker's, bankers left off important emails or the Buyer was on all emails intended for the Seller. Documents were sent out one at a time to various people for signatures and not followed up on. Their fees were absolutley the highest I've ever seen and I never saw the fees until I sat down to close-because the closing statement was delayed, delayed, delayed and they couldn't even figure out how to send a prelimary statement. There was absolutely no coordination of anything by this title company. They claimed it was up to the lawyers to schedule the closings and make sure all the documents were in order! I had to take charge and organize it all myself and request ONE package of closing documents be sent out to my lawyer/banker and stop with all the piece-meal sending of documents. The only reason this company isn't broke is because they charge duplicative and high fees to whomever has to use their services. Ugh.

Efficient and friendly, all business not a lot of frills. Best of all is location, it's possible to find some street parking if you're picking up a check. There is a parking lot right around the corner on Lake St. If you're a seller, Prime and Provisions is right across the hall, so if you feel like celebrating your closing with a drink or a steak dinner Sunday style, you have all in one location. If you're a buyer, and you just emptied out your pockets, you can hit up Corner Bakery just to the south, on the corner of Lake & LaSalle. Reliable service, great location.

I had a residential closing on November 18th 2012 at an Attorney's office where Yuri Sasonov was the closing agent from Near North National Title Llc.Having been present at over 30 closings this year (2012), I have seen the Closing Agents range from the very good to the "should have retired last year" Closer!Yuri is one of the most professional Closers I have ever seen. And the challenge of mobilizing with all of the necessary equipment and apparatus....has always amazed me.This particular closing had high pressure issues and lasted for 6 hours. Yuri kept his professional voice at all times saying " Here are 2 problems. Here is how we solve the problem." Done!Yuri was organized, flawless, and efficient while keeping all parties grounded and level headed at the same time.I needed to wire funds from my Real Estate closing department (normally that takes hours to get through to a closing agent) He had it in an hour and 15 minutes!!A Title Company is only as good as its best closing Agent. From where I sit, Yuri is your very very best !
