Terrible Experience as they violated my consumer rights. I am a darker skinned complexion and wasn't offered the insurance protection on my glasses. I had to do my own research and inquire them about the plan. They was upset when I found out I can insure my glasses as this is my 2nd time purchasing the frames. The exact same frames and I wasn't offer the insurance . When I asked them why I wasn't offer the insurance the manager claimed it was offered to me but i denied it. LOL thank god for cameras and recording these ppl would lie dead to your face and gas light you if you didn't have the proof that they never offered it , It sad. Instead of simply apologizing he had me review the 13 min call over and over again leading to my frustration//// and now I will be filing a complaint to the Illinois Attorney General office, the better business bureau , (IDFRP - Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation), CFPB ( consumer financial protection bureau and once they review my recording I will be taking it to the small claim court for wasting my time, placing me in distress and discrimination//// its 2024 racism is unacceptable. Do better people. It cost 0.00 to apologize and move forward but the manager made manners worst when he lied to me. Original service was amazing out the fact she didn't offer me insurance.

The place is okay some staff are nice others not so much so it’s a hit or miss but i definitely did not feel comfortable enough to ask for advice on glasses due to the lack of willingness to help from some of the staff, I also asked to have a form filled out that I needed for my insurance but the Dr. never got back to me (despite saying they would) might try a different location.

My mother has been a patient of Dr. Scott's for over a year. First off, great doctor, and friendly front desk staff. However, they have an "overflow" policy which if you do not confirm your appt, they will essentially cancel it and try to squeeze you in that day. I took my elderly mother, who didn't confirm her appt, so they cancelled it as it was the last appointment of the day. All and all great staff, poor "corporate" policies.

Great place to get your exam the doctor was very friendly and thorough at his job. I came here for the full eye exam. I tried a few different prescriptions and found the one that worked best but the price of the contacts were way higher than most other places online. If you're looking to buy contacts I would buy from 1-800 Contacts instead.

They were incredibly rude to me when i went to go pick up my glasses and i needed them to adjust them. i went to the myeyedr on michigan in downtown chicago and they adjusted them perfectly there and were so incredibly nice.

I’ve been a patient at this eye doctor’s office primarily due to its convenient location. The clinicians here are outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to providing top-notch eye care. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the support staff.
My recent experience left much to be desired. I encountered issues with their online portal, which is not user-friendly. The downloadable prescription didn’t provide the correct information needed for me to independently place an order for contacts. Frustrated, I called the office for help.
Instead of receiving assistance, I was met with an automated system repeatedly urging me to return to the website. When I finally got through to a live person, I was disappointed by the condescending, impatient, and generally unpleasant demeanor of the staff member I spoke with.
It's baffling that basic courtesy and a friendly attitude are not standard practices here. The clinicians’ excellent service is overshadowed by the rude and standoffish behavior of the staff. If it weren’t for the convenient location, I would consider looking for another practice where every aspect of the patient experience is valued.

I never complain publicly, (as a business owner, I know the importance of good - and bad- reviews) but what happened here is unacceptable. I needed new prescription sunglasses. Came in, met the eye doctor ( very nice and professional person) to get the most updated prescription... I then chose some very nice Rayban sunglasses. I expected to get the same Rayban glasses with my prescription. I paid more than $700 to finally get the Rayban frame with some average quality, lightly tinted glasses inside. And they pretend that I declined the offer to get them from the Rayban lab. I don't care about the frame, I care about the quality of the glasses! If you want high quality prescription sunglasses, choose another company!

The 1212 n wells stIs so amazing they treated me with so much respect everyone there was so friendly the office was spotless. I recommend this place to everyone.
