I purchased a pair of Airmax 270 and there is a noticeable stain or stitching defect on the front of the shoe I tried to return the shoe the manager there told me that every shoe has a defect and I told him if I’m buying defective merchandise I should be made aware upfront they would not let me return the shoes because it was after seven days and I can’t contact anyone they won’t give me a number to corporate or district manager so Please be aware Mr. Allen’s sales defective merchandise that they’re selling under the premise of high quality merchandise the manager told me that every shoe has a defect so I’m gonna fill out a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because this needs to be known to the public

Like so many good things, I found Mr. Alan's out of the result of real frustration. Specifically, I was looking for a limited-edition Colin Kaepernick & Nike shirt. It was sold out at every Foot Locker location in Chicago, in two major nearby cities and even online. I found an article that mentioned Mr. Alan's in Michigan still had them. Lo and behold, Mr. Alan's had recently expanded into the Chicagoland area. I called this location; they had the shirt in the size I wanted, so I dashed over. Mr. Alan's is like a Foot Locker on steroids; I'd say kind of similar to the House of Hoops in that they have lots of premium apparel. All of the well-known, most interesting, and unique activewear brands are sold here. Also, lots of Chicago-based gear from hockey, baseball (both teams), to basketball and football. I went in for a $40 long-sleeved t-shirt and left having also bought a Nike zip-up hoodie and some sick Nike Air Max 270's. The staff is so friendly, even the security guard there was pleasant. I think I shocked him when I was taking pictures outside; I was taking pics to post on Yelp not casing the joint. Whether looking for the exclusives or just want a better shopping experience, Mr. Alan's is it!

Everytime I go to the 47th st location the manager is so unprofessional, always sitting on the counter and cursing. He never assist me because he be to busy on his cell phone so other associates have to assist me. He’s very rude. I would love to continue shopping here with the other associates because they are very helpful but he makes me not want to come there. They need a new manager because Mr. Alan’s is losing a lot of business due to the unprofessionalism of the manager. I believe his name is Courtney
