I work for a furniture company and am always amazed at the number of options this brand can create. It is not an easy task to offer so much customization, and from what I hear from my customers the process goes smoothly and professionally. They are definitely worth checking out!

I ordered a custom dinner table in July and was told it would be delivered by Oct 25. It is now Nov 19 and I'm still without a table. I asked to cancel the table due to it taking so long and was told I was not able to get a refund. Now I'm here without a table and the holidays right around the corner. So I asked the salesman what's going on with the table and rudely tells me it is what it is....it's gonna take another 3-4 weeks.

Keith at the Modshop in Chicago sure delivered!! He was over-the-top accommodating, efficient and helpful with fabric selection (there are hundreds to sift through). He was so engaging and an absolute pleasure to work with... simply wonderful. Right on schedule, my "fat b******* couch was delivered and it is just perfection. Definitely worth the wait!!. The delivery team (Jose) was also top-notch professional and maneuvered the beast of a sofa to the basement without a scratch on the walls. Overall the whole experience was an A+! Thank you Keith!

MODSHOP HAS STOLEN MY MONEY ($2,663.35 to be exact) AND MY SANITY OVER THE PAST NINE MONTHS… AND COUNTING. This company is fraudulent and corrupt. Run for the hills and do not give them a cent. Horrible customer service. I had a horrible experience with a furniture that i ordered last year. They delivered a wrong product after 6 months. They took the product back but haven't refunded me. Please do not buy from ModShop.

Gorgeous store!! Amazing client service and experience! Keith was so helpful, funny, knowledgeable. He is so passionate about what he does and it definitely translates into the Guest experience in every sense. They can customize anything into the furniture of your dreams and at a great price. I checked out this store today looking for a sectional. The design is more modern, which is fine. But it just appeared to be one of those over-priced stores that sell underwhelming products with a huge markup. No thank you! When I was casually chatting with the associate, I mentioned about Costco selling sectionals for about 2K. He sorta looked down on me and said "I don't know where you can find a sectional for 2K". Really? The median income in this country is like 45K, yet he thinks people can't a damn sectional for 2K?! So, middle class people stopped having sectional or what?! That sounded pretty artificial and disrespectful. Shorting the store now. In response to the reply from the business (below): I think the sequence is as follows: I told you that my budget is 2K. You remarked "Gosh, not sure where you can get a sectional for 2K" to which I responded "Costco selling sectionals for 1.2K". Further, as an industry insider, you should have known that there are plenty to stores that sell sectional at this price (Wayfair, Ashley's, Bob's discount furniture, etc). So, you were either unaware of the market prices or being disingenuous to make a sale.

Horrible customer service AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!I don't know where to begin, but experience with this company has been awful. Purchased a sofa from them, and the buying experience was pleasant, Lauren - the store manager, worked with my wife directly to help purchase the customized couch that we wanted. After that, everything went downhill. Shipping was delayed, understandably due to covid, but on the actual delivery date, we were hit with a sudden change in policy requiring that every item purchased in the delivery truck for that day needing to have their balanced paid off by their respective client prior to being the shipment to go out. Our item was held hostage by 2 customers who had yet to pay their balance. When asked, Lauren stated that this was a new policy and she had never heard of it and apologized. I am not sure what kind of company does business like this but that absurd policy delayed our shipment by another 2 weeks (after already waiting 12 weeks).On the new delivery date, the delivery team didn't attempt to bring the couch into our doorway and determined that it would not fit, despite not even attempting to move the item. They then claimed they would need additional people, to which they suggested we pay an additional $75 per person for. They then refused to hold the item back on the delivery truck until they could get more movers, and stated they would leave it outside on our driveway until they could come back the next couple of days (knowing that it was going to rain later in the day!) The delivery team, named Jose, then told my wife and I that "I don't know what to do you're just gonna have to deal with it." Upon speaking with the company, they stated the additional charge of $75 per mover was not their decision to make. The delivery team MADE IT UP on the spot. Needless to say, the couch is sitting in our garage with no plan in place to attempt placing it inside of our home.

I ordered black hardware and legs for my media console that I originally picked up from the store in 2020. In February, 4 months after ordering, my order never showed up. In April, about 2 months ago, I reached out to let them know and request a refund, which at first they were happy to assist with. They made me jump through hoops by filing out a CC authorization form. I filled out this form the same day back in April and still have no been reimbursed for my order that was placed 6 months ago! I have followed up over a dozen times for what most companies should be refunded instantly. Still no reimbursement, and constant frustration. I recommend buying your furniture elsewhere.

Poor customer service, don't answer phone, don't return calls, don't reply to emails. 3 months later and not able to get an update on my order!
