I had a great experience with the Ette team! There is so much pressure on brides to find the perfect wedding dress, with the best fit and the team at Ette made me feel so comfortable and beautiful in my dress. Yes alterations can range in price but that's something I expected and wouldn't say that Ette was outrageous in what they charged.

DO NOT GO HERE. A friend's wedding dress got damaged while in your care and your seamstress refuses to take any responsibility. Save your money and go somewhere that isn't going to destroy a precious piece of clothing. Telling everyone we know who lives in the city to not ever go here for ANYTHING.

If you have the budget, they are the best in the business!! My dress fits like a glove and they are so thorough in their alterations. Great customer service from everyone I interacted with. The shop itself is decorated so cute. Book in advance because they are busy - for good reason! Thank you to everyone at Ette!!!

SAVE YOUR MONEY! This place is a total rip off. Terrible service, very restrictive contract, they will over charge and under deliver! I went here based on recommendations from my bridal shop and seeing good reviews on yelp + google. When I received my wedding dress, I went in for a consultation to get a quote for the alterations. They assured me the alterations I needed were very standard, nothing out of the ordinary. I was very concerned about the fit of the bodice, and they recommended I use boob tape.. rather than actually fitting the bodice to me.. I thought that was odd, but I've never had a wedding dress tailored before. I also mentioned I wanted the dress to hug my hips, and they said they might not be able to do that or I wouldn't be able to sit.. So with minimal alterations to the bust, and also not guaranteeing the dress would fit in the hips like I wanted, they told me it would cost $650! Then when I went in for my first fitting, I said again that I wanted the dress to follow my hips, and they said that would cost extra, and increased the quote to $850!! I was getting skittish feeling like this is really expensive for alterations for a dress that only cost $2000 originally.. Then they sent me their contract. I read through it and it had all kinds of crazy stipulations like they are not responsible for altering your dress if you gain or lose significant weight.. without defining what is "significant weight." 5 lbs? 10 lbs? Who knows. They also reserved the right to charge by the hour for answering emails!! They have no promise of customer satisfaction and only outlined all the ways they could charge you EVEN MORE. Absolutely insane. I took my dress and left and found another tailor, who is charging me HALF what they quoted me. AND she is fitting the bodice to me (no boob tape needed!) and making my booty look amazing (and I'll still be able to sit down of course!). Shout out to Mary Catomy, my new tailor. I told her everything they told me and she said wow they do not know what they're doing!! RUN don't walk away from this place!!

I am so happy and pleased to work with Ette for my wedding gown alterations! They came recommended from the boutique where I bought my dress, and I can see why. They are knowledgeable about the designers and dress types, and they make the process so seamless (no pun intended). Their location is beautiful - brightly lit and welcoming (which I can't say about a lot of other alteration places). Throughout my 3 fittings, they worked to ensure my dress fit perfectly, and made little adjustments along the way. At my final fitting, I was able to bring in my sister-in-law to help with the bustle for the day-of, and Ette was great at walking through it. I felt supported and encouraged by the entire staff along the way, and they made me that much more excited for the big day! They played a huge part in making me feel my best for my wedding - the dress fit flawlessly! Highly recommend Ette to anyone who wants a fun, stress-free experience with wedding dress alterations. I'm so happy with their service and quality, that I'm using them for dress cleaning and preservation as well. Thanks again, Ette!

Ette was recommended to me by my wedding salon, and they were wonderful to work with! From when I initially reached out for information through the completion of the tailoring process, they were so communicative, kind and responsive. They did a fantastic job altering my Haley Paige dress (removed a few layers of tulle as well as a bit of the train). I also highly recommend working with Autumn as she was warm and definitely understood what I was looking for!

Ette did an amazing job with alterations of my wedding gown! I purchased a sample gown so it needed a little bit of extra work and after my three fittings it fit me like a glove. It was definitely pricey but they did wonderful work and it's a really nice shop in a convenient location. My advice for anyone looking for wedding dress alterations - contact them early (several places I reached out to were not accepting new clients because they were already booked up!), and make sure you speak up about anything that you don't like or want changed. There was one seam in my dress that just wasn't sitting right at my final fitting and I had to call it out and insist that it get fixed. The team at Ette fixed it immediately but it's on you to communicate what you need from them!

I'm so glad I brought my wedding gown to Ette for alterations! From my first consultation appointment, Goli made me feel so comfortable and was great about answering my questions and explaining the alterations process. Due to Covid, I attended all of my fittings solo (I was very glad that Ette was taking appropriate precautions, requiring masks, etc.) and Goli always offered to take pictures for me, asked about wedding plans, and went out of her way to make each appointment still feel fun and exciting. The whole team at Ette was very organized, responsive, professional, and transparent about pricing. When my dress needed some last-minute alterations, Kpoene was wonderful about working with me to come up with a plan and reassuring me that my dress would fit perfectly. The best part: it did!!! My dress fit like a glove and was perfect for my wedding day, thanks to the wonderful team at Ette!

I had such a seamless, straight-forward experience working with Ette for my wedding dress alterations! Goli, my fitter, was super professional and easy to work with. I wasn't sure what to expect when it came to gown alterations, and both Goli and Autumn were there to answer all of my questions. Email communication was always a breeze. During the appointment, I felt safe and the team always took all necessary safety precautions (Covid-19 times). During my second appointment and my first fitting after alterations, we noticed some weirdness with the ribbon on the back of my dress. Goli was able to chat with the seamstress and fix the ribbon during the appointment, saving me from having to make a third appointment. Very helpful and appreciated. Thanks again, Ette!

I loved my experience with Ette! They were professional, courteous and extremely talented. They were also very flexible, I had to postpone from my original wedding date and they easily accommodated me by allowing me to push my fittings out for months. When I picked up my dress and tried it on at home I had a few questions on the fit, Ette had me come in to have their seamstress and team help me put it on to make sure I was comfortable in it and it looked perfect for my wedding day. I also felt comfortable with all of the Covid protocols they had in place. I would highly recommend using them for wedding dress alterations!

This is a very professional, very skilled group of people. They made this dress fit like a glove. They were easy to communicate and I found the price to be very reasonable! Plus they took a video on how to put up the bustle and my sister-in-law was praising how clever that was. Most importantly, I came during COVID and they were very good about being safe. You walk in, and immediately have to take a temperature and hand sanitize. Everyone is wearing a mask and they are very strict on limiting people in the facilities. I felt very safe during my fittings.

I came to Ette at the recommendation of my planner and I am so thrilled I did. My fittings began pre-covid. At my first fitting, the team went through all of the details of my alterations as well as a very thorough breakout of cost and level of work. This was so important so I knew what was going to happen with such an important piece. We decided that due to some customizations, that I'd need 4 fittings. When I came back for my second fitting, the dress fit nearly perfectly already. The biggest adjustment was the arm hole as I had to reduce the amount of fabric in the shoulder straps for my shorter statue. By the final 2 fittings we were well into Covid but there was nearly nothing we needed to edit, just super minor seams only the seamstress could see. The Ette team is taking their precautions so seriously and I felt so safe in their space. I completely trusted them with my dress and the alterations. On the day of the wedding, my dress fit perfectly. I even had a matching mask from remaining fabric from my dress. I would send any bride to Ette!

This review is long overdue! Ette helped tailor my wedding dress and they were absolutely amazing. Everyone in the shop helped me at one point or another. My dress was heavily beaded and I was so worried about how to handle the train, but again the Ette tailors helped me with everything, picked the best style for my dress and even filmed a video of how to pin it for me because I was doing my fittings alone as most of my family had to travel to me to come to the wedding in the first place. Really can't say enough good things!
