The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate to the animals and their human families. It is clean and pleasant. This is my cat Squeakie, who is their patient.

Ml metropolitan Vet Center Dr. and Staff are great oir dog Neo had his annual check up and vaxanations as well as bloodwork today. The Sraff was stunning from our walk into the center the Dr. Answwered all of my questions and everything went Great!
Thus is the 5th checkup visit since we brought Neo in as a puppy on our first visit I would recomend the group for any furbaby!

I was referred to this vet years ago, and they used to be really great! I am not sure what’s happened in the past 3-4 years, but I am incredibly disappointed. I have had to rearrange my schedule almost weekly and take off work to accommodate them, which is frustrating because I specifically go to a vet clinic with multiple DVMs and techs since I do not work a traditional 9-5 job with PTO, etc.
I have asked to see a different vet/tech nearly every time I have scheduled to avoid taking so much unpaid time off work, and this office has become extremely inflexible and a lot of employees have given my family and I conflicting information as well.
I was getting ready to take my cat today for her appointment that was rescheduled over two weeks ago, and they contacted me last minute to inform me they are canceling her appointment. When I called, all the information was very conflicting and they blamed me for canceling, although I was working and planning to take my cat in for her scheduled appointment today, and they contacted me and canceled her appointment, not me. I am beyond frustrated because I took off work to accommodate this appointment over two weeks ago, as they claimed it was absolutely impossible for them to see me on the days I am available and off work.
Two separate times in the last two months, I have left with a cat with a cannula in her ear, that required surgical removal, with no follow-up appointment scheduled because of confusing scheduling problems. I feel very unheard at Metro Vet now.
I am very worried my cat isn’t receiving the right care at the right times due to their scheduling problems. I have empathy for any veterinary practice, and have tried to remain polite, but it seems to have harmed my cat and I in the end.
I now have an elderly cat with health problems that I am not sure how to properly care for, who has been in a cone for over 50 days, with no word on when my cat will be okay and healthy again. The employees have always been great to us, but the scheduling and inflexibility may seriously impact my cat’s health, which is why I am leaving this review.
I am not sure what has happened with this office over the past 3-4 years, but it used to be a lot better and I was never worried about my cat’s health before this experience. I really hope they are able to improve quickly!
I wanted to edit my review to add that they promised they would call and follow-up and they never did. I would not take your pet here if you care about them!

Metro Vet is the best! I no longer live in South Loop but I will drive here because they take such good care of my dogs. The techs, front desk staff and doctors are all amazing.

I’ve been coming to MetroVet for the past few years for all three of my animals. They have always given us exceptional service and taking very good care of my animals (two cats and a dog). Besides getting exceptional care while we are there, whenever I have a question or concern, I can either call or email and they will reply to me asap. Thank you for caring for my animals.

Metropolitan Vet Center has both experienced and professional doctors, techs, and staff. We are so thankful for all of the love, attention, and care our little dachshund receives when we are there. Everyone on staff is helpful and kind. We wouldn’t take our little guy anywhere else!

They were the vets for our dog Bowery when we lived in Chicago and they have been hard to top. They were always super thorough and kind to Bowery, always treating him with care and love. We still have to this day the EMERGENCY manual and kit we got from their ER class.

I've brought my two cats here for a couple of years now and have consistently received highly professional and caring service. The doctors, technicians and staff have been incredibly kind and helpful. Especially Dr. Czapor!!

I cannot give this vet enough stars! We have a senior kitty and were referred to them after she had to visit the emergency vet. They have always been extremely accommodating with appointments available after work on weekdays and Saturday appointments available. They have also been able to squeeze us in for a triage appointment when no other spots were available for the day, saving us a trip to the emergency vet when our cat needed care. The level of care she receives is unparalleled and I cannot thank Dr. Natarajan, Jalyssa, and team enough!!

The Veterinarians and staff are very nice. The office is very clean. But, the prices are very expensive for medications, tests, and care.

Staff are great!! They have their own parking lot. Location is great if you live in the south loop area. I have had to contact them at late hours and weekends and they have been available and respond in a timely matter, via email, text or phone call.

We’ve been coming to Metropolitan Veterinary Center for many, many years. I used to live down the street but we love the staff and facilities so much we continue to make the trek all the way from the North Side. My two dachshunds (one of which being a difficult client and bite risk) are always very well cared for from nail trims to vaccines to dental surgery and everything in between.
