The MegMade Team was great to work with! Engaged, responsive, and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. They refinished a vintage dresser from my childhood and made it brand new! Highly recommend and will use them again.

I purchased a custom painted dresser. The communication was not great. I had to reach out and follow up at every turn. Turnaround time was told 6 weeks and turned into 8- 9. Not a big deal, but no one called me. I had to check in. When I did get piece, I was extremely disappointed in prep work. I have purchased painted furniture from a variety of sources and this was average. Mostly due to lack of sanding, especially on stiles. This is sure to chip. Also, lack of food filler and one drawer guide missing. Drawers are sticky and could also be sanded down. Looking back on it, the warehouse is very dark and I should have done more leg work to ensure I got a clean piece. Due to the lack of sanding I’m expecting this to chip, but I could be wrong. I asked for the handles to be cleaned and polished. That was not done. At pickup the furniture is not wrapped in plastic and mine smelled of paint for a solid week. The drawers were extremely dirty inside. The already painted furniture in store seemed to be applied better. Very nice selection of vintage furniture, but I would use Renu in Glenview to fix or paint next time.

Bought furniture from MegMade when they first started many years ago. We had some issues with chipping, etc but they fixed it. Sought out pricing to repaint a piece we bought from them and they wanted almost double what I had paid originally with 20% off for a repeat customer, plus shipping plus extra money for the color not being a stock paint. Customer service for explanation wasn't the best either - just talked about their new process vs. looking at the actual practicality of paying double for something we had already bought from them. Just came across like they weren't interested in serving customers that had been there in the beginning unless we were willing to spend $$$.

I loved my experience with MegMade! I walked in on a whim and was not expecting much and now I have 4 gorgeous dining chairs that are completely unique and exactly my style!! The process was very creative and fun and they look flawless. I wish I needed more furniture so I could go back!

I don’t know what to say is my favorite part of buying from and working with the MegMade team because it was all so good. It started with a very old family piece (which they did an incredible job refinishing) and snowballed into Meg, Rebecca and the whole team becoming a huge part of our new construction home design. They helped us select an amazing mix of new and vintage pieces, which helped give our house a curated look and truly reflected our lifestyle. They had tons of creative ideas (hello wallpaper on the ceiling!) and always were easily able to work within our budget and help us prioritize where to go “high” and where to go “low”. I would work with them again in a heartbeat and appreciated how much care they put into making it a fun, exciting and personal process!

I've made a couple purchases from Megmade and have been pleased with all. I had a custom bench made with coordinating pillows and purchased a vintage buffet. I did have a slight issue with the custom pillows. They were supposed to have piping and arrived without. I made a quick phone call to the shop and they were able to fix without an issue. I absolutely love the look of the bench and get a ton of compliments.I just received my buffet last week and it's gorgeous! The estimated turnaround time was about 6 weeks and the timing was spot on.Overall, everyone at Megmade has been easy to work with and I will definitely make purchases in the future.

Strong recommendation for MegMade vintage furniture and design services. We have bedroom side tables from MegMade that were painted and we love them.The team designed the most darling nursery for our baby girl including a dresser that is perfect for our needs. The quality of their vintage furniture is high and is a much better investment than buying cheap plastic filled products within the furniture and nursery market.We loved working with Shannon and Meg and they had great suggestions on layout and pieces that are practical for our needs. So we recently did a meet with Meg and it was incredible! We were looking to hire a high end designer but the 1500 deposit and complimentary design was a no brainer! Their design boards were fantastic and so was the follow up. I was worried by some reviews from a few year ago but everything I experienced was over the top! I tried to add pics but for something google wont let me upload??? I'll try later.

We ordered these nightstands a few years ago and the paint chipped on one shortly thereafter. I reached out and was told I needed to ship it back in order for them to take care of it. When I questioned why I had to pay for the shipping, I was told that they typically wouldn’t repair for free at all, but will make an exception in this case. We’ve decided to replace our nightstands and move on, but just beware this can happen.

My living room was in desperate need of some love and updating and the ladies here helped me pick out some pieces that transformed my space! I use to walk into my living space and never really feel like I was at home. After I took their recommendations and moved some items around and updated some of my items that needed to retire, it feels like I'm in a new house! I can't thank them enough for their expertise and help with this!
