This bank is horrible! I deeply regret choosing them as my bank when I moved to Chicago. All the people are nice but today for the second time in just two years they have no website access to bank accounts. So no access to any internet banking and limited information as to when the issue will be solved. The previous issue included an issue that meant you couldn't access your funds at all! Don't bank with them!

This lender is extremely aggressive about threatening force-placed insurance on your property if you have a mortgage with them. In spite of paying my insurance through escrow, they repeatedly demand to see proof of insurance. If it's not provided immediately, or if it's not in an amount deemed sufficient, instead of asking me to buy the insurance they required, they bought insurance far in excess of the loan value and in excess of the value of the property through a 3rd party called Procter Financial. I fought for years to get it removed paying thousands in wasted premiums. I have had a number of mortgages and have never had a lender be this aggressive with force placed insurance, or continually asking for proof of insurance especially given the lender was paying the premiums.

MB Financial Bank just acquired the bank that previously held my mortgage. I have gone through many morgage transfers over the years and this by far was the most poorly managed. They failed to pay my homeowners insurance and then did not process my payment charging me a late fee. They did waive it under the rules that they waive one fee every 24 months. They made it sound like they were doing me a favor when it was their error in the first place. The clevel of service provided by this establishment is abysmal compared to the bank that previously held my mortgage. So disappointed!!!

I have banked at many banks over the years (heck, I used to be a teller back in the day) and MB Financiall (both this branch and especially their phone customer service), by far, has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I'll skip the details of the MANY issues I've had throughout my 5 years banking there. PLEASE bank somewhere else that knows what the heck they are doing. Oh, and as for the Luke S. reviewer, no one actually uses that lingo unless they actually work there. Lame!

Hands down the worst bank I've ever been with. The bankers are absolute airheads, anything you say to them goes in one ear and out the other. It seems like it is honestly run by a bunch of kids w/ 2 years associate degrees or something. After 3 years of terrible service, I've finally moved to chase. Been with Chase now for 4 months, not a single issue. If i could give zero stars I would.

I could go on for days with a description of everything that went wrong...but I'll skip it and just give you the highlights (because I doubt anyone would be in the mood to read my two page gripe) Terrible customer service when opening my account Representative gave me the wrong login info for my online banking and the correspondence from the rep was like reading a 10 year old's email. It took me a week and a half to get my online banking sorted out. They didn't program my pin number correctly the first time...so I went to my new local branch and waited in line for 20 minutes on a Saturday to get the issue taken care of only to be told that MB just took over that location and the MB computer system wasn't working yet...apparently I had not seen the sign that was posted at the forms counter...umm...maybe a sign on the door would have been more helpful? Not one employee ever apologized for the inconveniences, in fact, not one employee ever smiled at me or gave any inkling of giving a damn...when I worked customer service, I at least pretended to care! I'm not asking that you really give a sh*t but at least fake it a little bit! Uhhg. I didn't think anything would make me miss Chase.

Just one thing to say..........They are open till MIDNIGHT Monday through Friday and till three on Sunday. The only bank I know of where the Lobby is open that late.
