I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Martinez funeral home that assumed they could make decisions about my loved one's belongings without even asking for permission. I am utterly disappointed and deeply hurt by their actions.First and foremost, the emotional distress caused by this blatant disregard for our wishes is unfathomable. Losing a loved one is already a devastating experience, and to have a funeral home make decisions about their personal belongings without involving the family is simply unacceptable. It added unnecessary pain to an already difficult time.Furthermore, the lack of respect and professionalism displayed by the funeral home is appalling. They completely ignored the fact that these belongings hold sentimental value and may have had significant monetary worth. By assuming ownership and disposing of these items without our consent, they not only showed a complete disregard for our wishes but also caused us financial loss.Additionally, their actions raise serious concerns about their ethical practices and integrity. Funeral homes are entrusted with the responsibility of providing compassionate and respectful services. However, this particular funeral home failed miserably in upholding these values. Their assumption that they could make decisions without consulting us demonstrates a severe lack of empathy and understanding. Moreover, their behavior may have legal implications. Funeral homes are required to obtain permission from the family or designated executor before making any decisions regarding the belongings of the deceased. By neglecting this crucial step, they have potentially violated legal protocols, which is unacceptable.Lastly, the reputation of Martinez funeral home has been severely tarnished in my eyes. I would strongly advise others to reconsider using their services. Trust and reliability are paramount when dealing with such sensitive matters, and this experience has shattered any faith I had in their ability to handle things correctly. In conclusion, I am deeply disappointed with Martinez funeral home's assumption that they could dispose of my loved one's belongings without seeking our permission. Their actions have caused immense emotional distress, damaged their reputation, potentially violated legal obligations, and displayed a complete lack of professionalism. I strongly urge others to think twice before entrusting them with the responsibility of caring for their loved ones.

This Funeral Home is great. They extended their hours to accommodate "working" people till 7:00 pm. This is place is very comfortable, clean and ha a safe place to park. They have a full kitchen, very clean bathrooms and an extra spacious chapel. At this sad time, the cost of services is optional. You have a choice of minimal to expensive. I would use their chapel and other services again.

My family had a memorial service done at 63rd location today 08/6/22. Absolutely stunning inside with very welcoming and attentive staff. 100% recommend.

Great service and attentiveness from all staff members but especially from Maria Elena, she was so kind, respectful and attentive to my family. Her service was outstanding and she was able to facilitate this tough day for us.

It's strange to write a review about this because of the situation itself and because I hardly write any but I felt it important to help anyone that's panicking about finding a funeral home, like I was, so just wanted to say the service provided was so very much appreciated. Not only are they very reasonably priced but they are so understanding and don't treat you just like one more client and on to the next one. I cannot recall names because I was not in the right mindset but the young man who we dealt with from beginning to end I thank from the bottom of my heart, I took forever to leave and he never pressured me to do so, the transport to Mexico also went seamlessly. The lady in the front also, thank you!

The Martinez Funeral Home offered us wonderful peace and service. The Home offers enough space for guests to move around without feeling crowded. With such difficult news and a feeling of not knowing, the Martinez group did know. From making the arrangements to Mexico, to the great make-up work and helping with final request, I cannot thank the group enough. If you are looking for a place that offers compassion, dignity and respect look no further than The Martinez Funeral Home.

All I have to say is very unprofessional would not recommend you take your loved there. They did a terrible job on my sister she did not look like herself. Terrible place to take your one.

My family and I were concerned about ensuring the body of my grandmother would arrive on time and in good state to Mexico, after reading a review from a previous customer that seemed to have a negative experience. My mother spoke to the director and clarified her concerns. My grandmother arrived to Mexico as expected and we were able to hold an open casket funeral. Everyone was professional and willing to assist during the difficult process.

Very professional and friendly staff. They went above and beyond on a request that is not permitted. But they were generous enough to do it for us. We thank you for that. Very fair pricing and good service. Thank you again for your service.

Extremely disappointed in the hospitality and coordination skills of this facility. The employees were rude to the grieving family and friends. The body was schedule to be in Mexico on a Wednesday and was not delivered to the grieving family till Saturday morning because the Martinez funeral home supposedly made an error in the weight. Delivery of the body was changed three times which made it difficult for the services in Mexico. Overall don’t waste your time coming to this place for their services because they are only seeing the dollar signs rather than serve grieving families who are in pain. Simply Pathetic!

At first you think this place is good, but then wow things turn around quickly. Our loved one did not arrive to Mexico when they had told us they would. That ended up costing a lot of extra money because changes had to be made with the funeral home in Mexico. Also the body arrived in such a horrible state that in Mexico they had to have a closed casket service.
