I shop at this Mariano’s every month, use self checkout every time.
Today a manager not sure his name, short black guy targeted me and my boyfriend. Out loud told another employee to watch me ring out my items because I might be stealing.
When I expressed my frustration he said if I keep it up I won’t be ringing anything up today…. I politely gave him my cart and said “these are go backs”
Hopefully he learns how to work in this industry. I’ve been doing it far to long to be treated this way.

Dingy, frequently out of product, product that is the polar opposite of fresh, staff that is rude and clueless. Do yourself a favor and skip this place permanently, as I do.

Their selection has gone downhill over the years. They keep shrinking their low-calorie/diet drink selection. Boxes of tea bags have replaced instant tea mix. Those small packets you pour in water have either been replaced with electrolytes or "flavor enhancers" -- both of which are overpriced -- OR have WAY too much caffeine. Too many things are sold in un-recyclable plastic. The sushi is never in stock when I'm there.

The cashier did a mistake, so I ve been able to buy 2 small beers. I didn't know it was illegal and i didn't notice the price was for 2 packs of 6 beers.
So I return to the shop and the manager told me it was impossible and didn't make anything to fix the situation.
So I paid illegaly 2 beers for 24 dollars.

The Americans are afraid enough of the lawsuit to accuse the client of lying. According to the manager it is IMPOSSIBLE to buy individual beers in his store. As a French person not familiar with the beer sales system here, we paid the price of 2 packs of beer for 2 cans!!!!! ATTENTION TOURISTS DO NOT GO THERE you will get scammed and then they will tell you that you are lying!!!!!!!!

Sharon and Brian at the customer service were always nice and helpful. I went there using West Union today and accidentally gave them extras $100, they realized and immediately gave me back. It was always a nice experience to visit this place.

Some sections at this grocery store are better than others. But food that expired 3 years ago?!
I spoke to the manager and he said that they will get a new shipment in the back on Tuesday. But I didnt see him add it to an inventory request platform, nor did I hear him ask an employee to remove the expired items from the shelf.
I don’t want the area to lose another grocer, nor should one of my neighbors get sick from expired food.
If you’re a consumer, please remember to check the expiry dates on the inventory at this location.

Some dude named “Andrew” working at the butcher counter today was a total jagoff. I come in there multiple times a week and he got a horrible tone when I had to explain to him how to do his job. Maybe he shouldn’t be a “store director” if he doesn’t know how the store operates. What an absolute clown. The experience today will have me choosing Whole Foods next.
