A classic magic shop. Small space with big inventory, ranging from sponge balls and card decks to parlor-size illusions. The best part is contact with the sales people, who are happy to demonstrate and answer questions about tricks that interest you. You won't get that from buying anywhere online!That said, we asked on two different occasions about specific tricks that turned out to be out of stock. They just said that bluntly, with no follow-up such as when these might be restocked or whether they'd even been reordered.

Excellent magic shop for everyone, whether you're looking for fun toys, or do magic as a hobby, or are an advanced professional magician. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. We have gone several times and there's a good chance to meet other magicians while there. One of the few brick and mortar magic shops around. Worth a visit, and prices are good for their products.

Fantastic experience at Magic, Inc! Pedro, the manager, is an experienced professional magician, full of knowledge and history of magic, and a great performer! Ask to see a few tricks, he's funny and helpful.Great shop for every day people interested in some fun easy magic tricks, but also the place to go for professional magicians. We spent hours here, and didn't want to leave. We had such a great time!

This is my Magic shop has been for years.From small classes, to all the tricks you could want to learn, they got your Rabbit in the hat... Poof!! It's staff is excellent, friendly, professional, fun.It's in walking distance from lots of spots to eat, or parks to play with the kids and their new tricks, books, toys.They have more advanced thing for the semi professional.It's also just a fun shop to go in! Check out shop and window shop!!So bring the kids, bring friends, tell them the Badmonkeyking sent you!

What a wonderful place! Great, knowledgeable staff, fantastic selection of magic tricks and books and they even have a magic summer camp for kiddos. A true gem! Highly recommend!

Best magic shop ever! I walked in with my two sons ages 4 and 8 and Pedro was Awesome! My oldest son that was in in 3rd grade need a few tricks for a talent show and he sure helped us out with lots tricks and spent lots of time his time explaining them! He even brought out a special character that my kids loved and won’t stop talking about! They even have a summer camp for kiddos! What a fun experience we had!!

Great magic shop with funny and friendly magicians!I visited and got to see a few tricks performed, and then I bought as much as I could fit into my pockets.Thanks Pedro!Easy to get to via the L trains in Chicago.They also host magic events on some nights, as listed on their website.I wish I could've gone! But I had a train to catch.

I had an Excellent adventure, the guy working was very knowledgeable and friendly. I went to magic Inc for the first time when I was 15 & I haven't been back since today and it brought back so many wonderful memories even though they moved locationsI am very excited about the items I purchased and will definitely be returning for their lecturesThank you so much Magic Inc for being the best place in the world for magic ?❤️

Visited this shop while on holiday in Chicago. I'm a very amateur magician, so I wanted to check Magic Inc out. I was greeted by Pedro who helped me pick out some tricks for my daughter and chatted with me for well over two hours. He told me about the Chicago magic scene, and about area magicians I needed to check out. Another staff member helped me with my own magic: despite being quite skilled, he had all the patience in the world for my bad moves. My fear when visiting any sort of specialty store is that folks will be a bit of an in-group and not too welcoming. That definitely wasn't the case here--they have all the time in the world for every customer that walks in.Be sure to check out this magic institution if you're in the area.

Magic Inc is an institution. I fell in love with magic when I was a kid in grade school. My parents surprised me with my first magic kit a Mattel Magic Showstopper set. Then they took me to places that are now all be a distant memory... Schulien's Bar and the Old Barn that had magicians that performed some of the best close up magic I've ever seen. They introduced me to Magic Inc, and the folks there were kind enough to send me via mail their magic catalog. I would save for months to buy numerous illusions and tricks. My Dad would drive me to the shop from Berwyn where the staff and customers, magicians all would give advice, instruct and perform magic and illusions for me. Some of my best memories from childhood! I went on to even perform magic shows for fun and the love of magic. As a teacher, I find myself sharing my love for magic with my students and even performed illusions while Zoom teaching. If your a parent and your child had an interest in magic, don't just by some kit off of the internet. Take a visit to Magic Inc. , where the magic is real.
