Purchased mid Nov 2023 PetPro Maytag washer & dryer. I've had my previous set (Maytag) 25 years. No issues with older machines. With the new washing machine, only a month old, during a spin cycle, after using it several times, washer spun out of control and spit big sharp pieces of plastic all over the room. I called Lowe's, and with attitudes, they informed me that applicances only have a 48 hour warranty on them. So, I called Maytag, and they sent a repair company. The repair company said the entire machine will need to be rebuilt and most of the parts are on backorder for a very long time. So, now I'm expected to go a laundrymat for several months while I wait for a machine to be rebuilt. I went back to Lowe's to ask for some help on a replacement. I don't think this is right that I bought brand new machines, and I should have a washing machine that needs to be rebuilt only being a month old. Store manager, Raymond said no that they will not honor a replacement. I give this store so much business for many years, so I will no longer patronize this store. They convinced me to open up a Lowe's credit card. That will be closed immediately. The store manager did not call me or even try to help me. He had an associate email me and tell me to call Maytag again. They sell Maytag appliances and will not help. First of all, stay away from Maytag products, made out of plastic and they sell very "dangerous" machines. If this plastic that went flying out of the machine, hit a person, that would have been very serious and a trip to the hospital. Second, Lowe's is no help with sale of major appliances. This isn't right to be treated like this from Lowe's. They sell Maytag appliances, and have a direct connection with Maytag. They didn't even offer to call Maytag and push for a replacement. Also, Maytag has many customer complaints and a lot of issues with their appliances. Think again before purchasing a Maytag. Thanks for taking my money so quickly and then run when there's a problem!So, message below from Lowe's asks me to call their corporate office. I did this before they even posted message and I spoke to Karen, a manger at the district office and she said nothing Lowe's can do about this. It's out of their hands.Again, I cannot believe a big store like Lowe's cannot do anything. I'm forced to rebuild a brand new machine, miss work, and hope that this machine upon fixing doesn't burn down my house or hurt someone. Everyone I tell cannot believe that Lowe's/Maytag are not giving me a replacement.And, I love Lowe's vague response. Call corporate number, no specific person to talk to. Just talk to any random person who answers the phone who doesn't care! I'm tired of telling my story to ten different people who just shove me off!

I order a few window shades from lowe’s with a gift card(relevant later), I measured half an inch too wide so unfortunately had to do a return. For whatever reason, I was told I had to go in-store to try and exchange the shades for the correct size The nearest is the Chicago one, 40 minutes away from me. I drove all the way out and when I went to exchange the shades, they didn’t have the correct size in stock so they told me I had to order online and they’ll have to just refund my for the shades. They proceeded to charge me a 20% restocking fee, which I had no clue about, probably somewhere in their fine print, but 20% of the $200 shades is $40. Absolutely crazy to charge a percentage, at least that high of a percentage for a return. I can understand $5, maybe $10 but $40 is just insane. Now if that wasn’t bad enough, they refunded my gift card by giving me an In-store credit, failing to mention that it can only be used IN-store. So after I went home and tried to order my shades using it… i couldn’t because I needed to spend it in store, I called and the lady I talked to on the phone was very rude and told me that I couldn’t even come in store and have them order the shades to ship back to me because their system doesn't even allow that…After all this mess, i am never shopping at Lowes again… oh wait, I still have an in store credit so I guess I will be driving back 40 minutes to use that…

Never, ever by anything from Lowe's, especially a home appliance, using a non lowes credit card. If you do, you have 24 hours to interface with them directly to resolve any issues or disputes; otherwise, you have to deal with their third party service. They suck! Will never purchase from them again.

Store is big, take the tour lol. Even if I need something specific, I always give it another 10 minutes to see what is new on other departments and usually I find amazing deals.

This is an Okay Home Improvement store as long as you don't ever need help. I have used this store on numerous occasions. As long as I don't need help it is ok. Unfortunately for me, the few times I did need assistance, they did a really bad job and their help is subpar. In short, as long as you can find on your own what you need it will be an average shopping experience, if you need help, it will quickly turn into a well below average experience.
