I was looking for a wooden rod to place in a sliding door to prevent unwanted guests from entering a home. I explained this multiple time to several employees and no one seemed to understand what I was looking for. Maybe I didn’t explain my needs clearly enough. But the staff also did not seem to care and just kept redirecting me to random aisles.

Needed an ac quickly late at night and the ac units were all over the store. Michelle asked us if we needed help and she quickly found the best ac for us. Thank you for being so quick and so kind!

Update:I'm extremely disappointed with Lowe's Millwork department's handling of my door order. After enduring months of delays and miscommunication, I was informed that the installation, scheduled for June 19th, couldn't proceed due to my apartment's metal frames. This crucial detail was never communicated to me during the ordering process or when the installer visited for measurements. What's even more outrageous is the response I received from Lowe's representative, Ken. He essentially gave me two options: either keep the doors, which is laughable given they can't be installed, or get my money back. It's mind-boggling how Lowe's expects customers to accept such a ridiculous ultimatum after months of inconvenience and incompetence. Despite paying $6.5K upfront and patiently waiting for months, Lowe's failed to fulfill its promises and even attempted to keep my money without providing the agreed-upon service. This experience has convinced me that Lowe's Millwork department is either grossly incompetent or intentionally deceptive. I strongly advise anyone considering Lowe's for their home improvement needs to proceed with caution. The lack of transparency and accountability in their operations is appalling.
Original Post: I ordered five doors through the Millwork department at this store. I initiated the process in mid-February. After going back and forth for a month to get the order right, I finally placed the order and paid for it. They told me the doors would arrive on May 1st. However, when I called on May 3rd to check the installation status, I was told that the ETS is now May 17th. No one bothered to inform me of this delay, despite taking my $6.5K without hesitation. It's astonishing to me that a simple door ordering process would take four months. I remodeled my bathroom and backspashed my kitchen through Home Depot, and the entire process took only 35 days from the start to finish. I should have stuck with them... Lesson learned!

Love that I can walk here. Solid selection for plants and the convenience of this location being in the same plaza as Jewel and Ulta is clutch. They always have what I need and the customer service is great. I’m in here to make spare keys or buying tools or houseplants.

Minute key machine gives you 100% guarantee, scams you, then Lowe's has "nothing to do with it, it's 3rd party, so not our responsibility" so you'd have to call then to get your $5 back which isn't worth your time. Scam machine $5 pops at a time.
Called the support number from their reply, they wanted my full name and phone number, but can't answer why. No thanks, buddy

I was buying thin oak stock and grabbed a pair of 2' boards that had been cut in half by a previous customer, as shorter boards are easier to carry on the CTA. For emphasis: the two boards were the exact length of one 4' board, and had already been cut when I found them. When I tried to check out, the manager said he couldn't let me take two boards with stickers on them, so instead he went back, grabbed a full 4' board that was far more cupped and warped than the ones I chose, and didn't even cut it evenly, so I got one 24.5" board and one 23.5" board. And in the time it took to substitute an inferior product for the one I wanted, I missed my train. Total, I'd say Lowe's owes me about 3 hours of my life back between the train and the time I spent flattening and evening the boards by hand.
Is it possible to run a hardware store in this city without being actively hostile to your customers?

Significantly improved at this location in the past few months. I used to avoid this location, but it's become a convenient spot to pick things up at. Helpful employees and well-stocked.
