I walked into the store for the first time and instantly fell in love. The customer service is amazing, the product high quality and unique. My boys look so cute and fun in colorful and cool clothes. I don't want to buy from anywhere else!Full disclosure, I never ordered anything online and see some negative reviews from people who have so I'll stick to in-person shopping for now.

I really wanted to support local but I also value customer experience and dealing with Lola and the Boys’ customer support was excruciating. First, I received a dress that was different than what I ordered for my daughter. There’s no customer service phone number to call so I emailed support on Wednesday 4/29/23, and they acknowledged it was the incorrect dress and said they had the correct dress in stock at the showroom. I asked what their showroom hours were during the weekend and they said it was open “on Saturday at 9 AM EST - 4 PM EST” (which was also kind of puzzling that they provided the hours in EST since Chicago is on CST). Anyhow, on Friday 4/28/23, a different customer support person emailed me to say that the correct dress is actually not in stock, but suggested I could return or exchange my incorrect item. So I went to the showroom on Saturday 4/29/23 around 11am based on the email telling me it was open on Saturday. The doors were locked and there were no hours posted. At the old storefront, there was a phone number posted which I tried calling and texting, but the number went straight to voicemail. I waited for a while in front of the store hoping someone would at least respond to my text. Since it was raining and my 4 year old daughter was starting to get restless, we continued waiting at a coffee shop for a total of about an hour wait. During that time, I also tried send Lola and the Boys an Instagram message and Facebook message to try to get a hold of someone to help. I really needed to deal with the dress that day because my daughter needs to wear it to an upcoming event, so after my total time waiting had been about an hour, I decided to drive to Lola’s Water Tower Place store to try getting a real person to help. Around the time I left to go to the Water Tower Place store, they responded to my Instagram message 45 minutes later to say the showroom isn’t open today, so it turns out that wouldn’t have made a difference anyway. I was thankful the woman at the Water Tower store was at least trying to help, however, since the store didn’t have the correct dress in stock either, I picked out the next closest dress for my daughter and the only one left in stock in her size had a defect. My daughter fell in love with this dress and we didn’t have time to wait for shipping due to the upcoming event, so I decided to take it at a discount because I don’t want to deal with this store again and I don’t have time to shop for other dresses for my daughter at this point. However, it’s disappointing that after getting the incorrect dress and jumping through all these hoops, the quality control was lacking in having to settle for a dress with a defect. There were so many missteps and the whole process is made difficult for the customer by the inability to call a live person for help or even get correct information by email.

I ordered a gift for niece on 12/18 and a month later still have no update on my tracking or if this order was ever shipped. I have tried calling and emailing so many times it’s insane. Apparently nobody ever answers the phone number listed and most of the time the voicemail box is full. I’m guessing with other dissatisfied customers. I’m on the verge of thinking this company is a sham. If anyone works for this company and sees this PLEASE HELP.
