This place always treats us right. The prices are always good. They're fast and they can work with our schedule. And we can always be securevin the fact that whatever we had done was done correctly. We don't take our car to anyone else for anything.

Never going back...I've been a customer of Lawando's for many years for oil changes when I couldn't get into my regular mechanic. Never had a bad experience until June 30, 2023. They did the oil change, no issues. I asked the owner, Sam, to check the rear right tire, looked like it was wearing more than others. He said I needed all 4 breaks and rotors plus 4 new tires because one had a slit in the tread that could easily blow at high speed. He showed me the tires but they were back on the wheels therefore, he didn't show me the breaks. I vaguely remembered replacing the breaks and rotors last November at my regular mechanic. Sam added they don't sell tires, so he's not trying to take advantage. Quoted me $800 for the breaks installed. I took my car to my mechanic for 2nd opinion. He showed me the breaks were like new. He said the tire is still ok, not garbage, rotated it to the back. I was stunned and disgusted.Services: Tire rotations

I had my car taken there for a sound coming from below. The guy said he will replace tire bearing and a tune up. When I went to pick up the car he replaced the brakes and rotors which I never consented on. There was also a $50 admin fee which he referenced as "taxes". I went back for him to take a look, says he fixed it. The sound is still there when I drive it. $1300 seems like a lot when the key fob was the only thing I KNOW was actually fixed. You've been warned.

This is an update to my re iew last month. I had my car serviced at Fast Muffler at 6916 N Clark St. today. I originally requested in writing, that Lawando to do 3 things for my car: fix the noise from my power steering. Fix the clunking sound in my front end, examine my engine area for a mlnoise which I thought came from a belt. What he actually said he did was replace a power steering hose, did nothing for the clunking, and nothing for the noise near engine. And he went ahead and did a complete brake job I did not request or authorize. I have not yet confirmed he actually did the brakes. He provided no invoice and no receipt. And he massively overcharged me, he basically did almost nothing for a big fee. At Fast muffler, they observed power steering fluid spilt all over engine bay, and a new hose. My car still makes a steering noise. Lawando tried but failed to fix it. Next, the clunk in the front was simply a bent spring that taps the frame when hitting a bump. Third, the noise near engine is normal, but I should try some oil stabilizer to quiet it down. Fast Muffler also changed my exhaust quickly and at a great price. Do not use Lawando, go instead to Fast Muffler at 6918 N Clark
