Love this little local bike shop. I bought a racing bike there last year and have been very pleased with it. Great selection and service. I got a cheap kids bike for my daughter off Amazon recently and brought it here for adjustment when I had reached my wits end trying to do it myself. They provided great advice and helped modify the bike for free. Next time I'll save myself the trouble and just get the bike from them!

Went to Kozy to purchase a bike for my wife as I enjoy supporting local bike shops. This was my second experience after buying my son and myself bikes over ten years ago. The manager Sherdon Weir was extremely helpful and professional talking me through the models and features in advance of my coming in. He was able to order a new bike and it came in earlier than expected in great condition. We also picked up the extended service plan that is the best value in the city for four years of service. I would highly recommend this shop based on the staff and the selection of quality products that they have. There is a reason a business stays in business for almost 80 years and they always place the customer first!

Customer service is outstanding. Sherdon, in particular, is extremely helpful and knowledgeable around product offerings. Store has a vast selection of bikes, along with accessories. Hands-down, best place to-go if you’re in need of a bike, accessories or repairs.

Really good experience at Kozy's on Milwaukee. The Staff was super helpful, this was my first bike purchase. I also got the Sena Bluetooth Helmet and Sherdon help me connect it. Absolutely recommend this shop.

I love how close this place is to my house. They always have 3+ mechanics when I’m in there. They have helped me with quick fixes on my bikes a few times at a low cost and within 15 minutes I’m riding back home. Their staff is helpful and friendly.

My 14 year old just got a great bike at Kozy, on sale, from Sherdan. The customer service from Bill in the service department was fantastic. He took the time to adjust the bike to my son, mounted the lock we purchased, showed us how to use it and then asked my son to practice taking it off and putting it back on. Then he showed my kid the best ways to lock his bike to prevent theft. Such great service, I highly recommend Kozy!

I was happy with my experience purchasing a helmet, gloves, and shorts. The shoes selection was limited to clearance for women but I was in kind of a rush so I got the one pair that seemed to fit. This was my first time purchasing bike shoes. The person who rang me up offered to install the cleats which I appreciated at the time. Back at home after one ride around the block the shoes felt too big. When I called to ask if I could return the shoes without a receipt (which I had lost) I was told I couldn't return shoes that had cleats installed. I wish they had told me that was the policy before they installed them. Also the mount covers appear to have been glued on with shoe glue by a previous customer. So basically I was sold a product that had been doctored to look new (which I imagine the sales person noticed) and then was denied a return because the salesperson rendered them unreturnable. This is disappointing and makes me not want to bring my business back here in the future.

This is a great bike shop. The Avondale location is awesome. The employees are knowledgeable about all the bikes and the equipment. They make it super easy to test ride bikes. I picked up a solid commuter bike here and will come back when I'm ready to upgrade to a road bike. Great local shop.

I stopped by today for assitance installing SPD cleats on my cycling shoes. The person who greeted me was very kind and was able to quickly get the cleats on my shoes. He made sure to test the shoes clipped in properly as well. So glad to have such a friendly neighborhood bike shop near me!

I had a wonderful experience purchasing my bike from this store. As soon as I walked in, a friendly gentleman greeted me and immediately assisted me with the entire buying process, even helping me select some accessories. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent customer service and a seamless purchasing experience. Overall, I would give them a 10/10 rating.

I’ve owned many bikes and have shopped at quite a few of the bike shops on the north side of Chicago and Kozy’s in without a doubt the best of all. The staff is super helpful and friendly, the service is great, and the selection is insanely good. In the past few weeks, I’ve bought a road bike, a hybrid, a comfort bike (for my wife), a burley trailer (for my daughter) and a couple of helmets from Kozy’s and each time, they were great. If you buy a new bike, you leave with it same day. Other shops make you come back later, which is annoying. Even my wife, who is annoyed by the snootiness or pretension of most shops, left Kozy’s feeling good about how we were treated and she really likes her new bike. If you’re looking for a new bike, go to Kozy’s.
