super friendly and professional. i was there for some sakes for my husband's birthday, and got very helpful and useful advises. There's also namasake!! I will bring my husband to there soon.

Went there today and grabbed a bunch of drinks as well as a can of Orion draft can. I drove by this place a bunch and I'm so so so so happy I finally walked in. This place is lovely and the person working today was a treat! Didn't catch your name, but thank you for your help! Best beer and shop around.

One of my favorite spots because the staff is so kind and always stays open late if people are having a nice time. The beer, sake, and wine selection is fantastic and you can just open your drinks and snacks right at the tables. They are also dog friendly and have cool events and wine/sake clubs! Inside is nice and casual and there is paid street parking right out front.

I stopped by today and I was so glad I did! Whether you are a Japanese culture aficionado or just a simple Chicagoan looking for a unique drink, K&K is definitely worth checking out. I immediately noticed the store was clean and tidy, and I quickly found myself surrounded by a colorful array of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in all shapes and sizes and types. Everything from sake to wine to beer and everything in between, you'll surely find whatever you are looking for here - even the obscure/niche/exotic stuff you can't find anywhere else. The selection is outstanding and you can tell the owners are genuinely kind people, are very knowledgeable, and are happy to help!

I have a great idea for you to get all the benefits of K&K: keep their events page open in a tab and reference it daily. K&K has INCREDIBLE events that are learning and networking extravaganzas. I'm feeling so lucky that I'm learning about sake, have learned how to make at least 5 origami folds so far this year, and have met some wonderful distributors as well as the sweet staff that works here. For me, K&K is a nice little respite where I can enjoy a relaxed environment and try new things. They also carry Boss coffee which I am obsessed with after visiting Japan. I love how you can buy a single item to try, which curbs my consumption and lets me buy so many little treats for myself. I hope to join the sake club soon and I'm ready for my next event!

Love the idea of this place, and the branding is so cute! The owners are knowledgeable about sake and are always more than happy to answer any questions. I love the variety of asian snacks and beverages too, so I definitely will be back!

This shop is incredible. The vibe is amazing, the service is so tailored and you can find so many wonderful beverages and fun snacks. Their prices are so reasonable and their selection is vast! I highly recommend a visit to Konbini&Kanpai!

Cute spot with great selection of cans and bottles. Have a question? The staff is always happy to help and make great recs plus always friendly. Fave spot to build my own six pack and spend way too long staring at the coolers trying to narrow down my picks. Def recommend checking out their events as well!!
