Had a concert a the house of blues and the Kinzie hotel is only a 5 min walk from there. Great staff and the room was cozy and comfortable.

Worst place to stay in entire Chicago
The website pictures are super deceptive, they are of a fifteen category room and just 1 or 2 regions in the whole hotel are like that. Prices are too high for very small room, with view of bricks and under construction places in all corner rooms.
Told there is happy hour but all they had was no snacks and some very cheap alcohol and no other option. The reception rooms something else
No bell men, tiny 1 man reception, no one pics the phone call.
See attached pictures of premium corner room that I paid almost double the price for. Changed 4 rooms there were all same. Turned out they used the pic of vip suite and used it for all corner rooms.
Update: the bathroom smells and not clean. Tiny shampoo bottles.
Rooms are ultra small...
Update 2- they agreed to give a small 7% refund as the room picture was wrong, but that refund never came, till date.
Update 3 - 2 months after, the refund is still pending.

The stay was good, the location is good. HOWEVER, I requested a delivery to the hotel, which due to the MILTON hurricane arrived only one day after my stay ended.
I spoke to reception and they stated that they could receive it, return it or send it to my address.
After receiving the email confirming the delivery of the package, I tried to contact the hotel via email, Instagram and phone, but after receiving my order, they never responded to me again. I was left without my order and no answers. I felt deceived.
I understand that they were under no obligation to receive the order, but the worst part was that they ignored all my contacts.

Great hotel with a perfect location and attentive, well-informed staff. Everyone was quick to help, which made our stay even better. However, the breakfast left much to be desired—it’s complimentary, but the quality could definitely be improved. Overall, a fantastic stay.

Pet Friendly. We stayed for our daughter's wedding and one of the main reason was she has a dog this hotel has better pet friendly policy.
Besides, this is close to Riverwalk and in the heart of the city with many things to do and restaurants nearby.
Breakfast and evening reception definitely was welcome gathering place for families as we stayed for wedding.
Safety: Elevators operate only after room card is swiped. So safety is good if anyone wants to get to room.
Walkability: Wakable from many of the Chicago downtown attractions including the Riverwalk as well as many restaurants and bars around.

Andres and Tran were absolutely spectacular. We had a terrible experience booking through Expedia (DONT DO IT) and Andres and Tran were so patient and kind. They literally saved our night!!! Turned a disaster into a wonderful evening with a great room and fun happy hour!!

Decent hotel with all the amenities that you will need. Very much appreciated the stay here. The staff was lovely to interact with, Housekeeping staff is super sweet! 10/10 would recommend this place, 5 min walk to Riverwalk definitely give this a try!

We just returned from a 3-night trip to Chicago and were very happy with the Kenzie Hotel. We arrived around 10:30 AM to drop off our bags and head out to see the town, but we were pleasantly surprised that we were allowed to check in early. Our stay included breakfast and two drinks per person at happy hour. The room was very clean with a great view. The bed was firm and extremely comfortable. The location was within walking distance of the river and the Magnificent Mile, and it was right in the middle of lavish nightlife and a fantastic restaurant scene. At just over $100 per night, the price was wonderful for this caliber of hotel. I would have gladly paid twice the rate.

The hotel is nice and clean. Rooms are clean and very spacious. Comfy beds, all you need is available, WiFi is fast. All rooms have full-size windows for the sealing to the floor. Amazing views.
Breakfast was continental and very basic. I still don't get, why US hotels aren't sustainable with the plates, cups, silvers. All disposable and not even made of recycling materials. On top they haven't been ready at the opening times during the duration of my stay. Every morning later than 6.30 am, which actually stressed the start into the day and the planning on our business trip

We stayed at The Kinzie with our families for our wedding this weekend and could not be happier with our experience! Everyone was so accommodating and helpful. The reception was lively and a very easy way to hang out with our families over a couple of drinks. The breakfast has so many options both warm and cold. Coffee is great. The room we stayed in was *stunning*. It truly gives you a feel of living in a downtown high rise with plenty of bars, restaurants, and activities nearby. They are also one of the few truly pet friendly hotels in the city. Our dog loved his stay just as much as we did! They have a nice little dog run with turf that is only accessible by guests so we didn't have to worry about him not having any grass to "go". Our families were also very impressed with the hotel and we will certainly be returning!!

Unauthorized charge in the name of "Nightly Service Fee" of $24.95. I questioned the front desk for this, and was given some sorry ass made up excuses that doesnt make any sense and decided not to waste my time with these thefts.
