I had a terrible experience with Joybird, and I regret choosing them for my furniture purchase. I waited patiently for two months, as promised, for my complete living room set, which included a sideboard, couch, swivel chair, coffee table, and side table. After waiting for a couple of months, I was informed that the sideboard was no longer being manufactured. This meant that the tables I had ordered would not match any other sideboard I might find elsewhere. Joybird tried to make up for this by selling me the last piece from their showroom, but it still wasn’t what I originally wanted.
To make matters worse, I was assured that mats to secure the couch cushions would be shipped to me, but even after six months, they have yet to arrive. Then, just yesterday, the leg of my coffee table suddenly fell off. This is only six months after it was delivered! When I contacted Joybird about this issue, I was shocked by their response. They told me that because the coffee table was made by one of their "trusted vendors," it only came with a three-month warranty. In other words, I’m on my own to fix this problem.
It's absolutely unacceptable to spend over $10,000 on a furniture set, including hundreds of dollars for a coffee table, only for it to fall apart in six months with no support from the company. I expected much higher quality and better customer service for such an investment. This experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I would not recommend Joybird to anyone.

I had an overall good experience at the Joybird store. It was good to see and sit in the furniture before comitting to buying. I appreciate the time they spent with different swatches and comparing colors for me. The sale was good too.

We spent quite a bit of money on this couch and come to realize it’s just badly designed. There’s an extra support leg on the back but not where it needs it most where the two sections come together. It sagged immediately after setting it up. Also the tuft buttons almost immediately started popping off.

Bought two products from joybird. A custom chair and a TV console. Had issues with both products. The chair which was a recliner was missing a part to secure the reclining mechanism that husband fixed. Each arm of the chair wasn't cut uniform and the stain was very inconsistent. The TV console which was beautiful is not a practical piece. It scratches VERY easily!! We've had it less than six months and looks like we've had it for a few years. The wood stain comes off each time I clean it. This is not worth the money because it's not durable at all!! I only use microfiber cloth to clean and very light wood cleaner every other time and literally damp cloth with water the other times. Waiting to hear back from customer service on my concerns but at this time I would not buy from this company again.

I highly encourage anyone considering making a purchase from Joybird to reconsider. First, they delivered an item that was completely wrong and intended for someone in a different state. Then, when they eventually found our item in another facility, they discovered that it was made with the wrong fabric. To “make it right”, they said they’d make us a new one. Gee, thanks. Lots of “thanks for the patience” messages, but no thanks, I can’t trust this company to get it right. For a company with premium pricing they don’t seem to have a handle on their operations or service.

Joybird says my order was shipped a month ago to the JBHunt facility but cannot confirm where the order is at. They can't place a phone call to find out where the order is at because "there are steps and procedures we have to follow with the carrier." They have stated they must email the carrier and I will receive an update in another 5-7 days after the order has already been lost with zero updates foe a month now. Terrible customer service and still no update.

Love Joybird products and our new furniture, however, my experience with Stanley at the Chicago store was horrific from start to finish. At one point during my initial visit to the store, I actually requested to work with a different sales person. Sadly I was unable to, because of the very loud fit Stanley had on the sales floor over my being placed with someone else to work with. For some reason the (manager?) thought the right solution to his behavior was to let him continue working with me, even though I absolutely did not want to work with him any longer. It was all just very uncomfortable. I plan to purchase a few more items for my new home, but I will for sure be doing everything else online instead of in the store.

Kevin Mañalac, from the Chicago store, spent week working with me on my design. He was absolutely amazing! Today was my delivery date and he followed up with me to make sure everything went well. The delivery was flawless and I’m in love with my furniture. Pictures attached, still need to finish the decor, but you can see how beautiful it looks and the quality of every item is great!

We had a great experience with Joybird start to finish, including delivery. The showroom was incredibly helpful to try out pieces and find a great sofa (we'd been looking off & on for over two years). Jenna assisted us and knew when to help out and when to give us space to consider. She followed up about delivery details six weeks later and answered questions. The 6-8 week delivery window from purchase to delivery was spot on (and for $20 extra they delivered to our third floor walk up). We even ended up buying a chair as well! Both pieces are beautiful and with the sale price we got felt like a pretty good value especially with price of furniture these days. We're hoping the seat cushions will loosen/soften up a bit over time with use. And hopefully both pieces hold up and look great for years to come. ??

I purchased a very expensive sectional in may 2021. It took almost a YEAR to get it. Zero communication whatsoever. They ended up giving me an “upgraded” warranty that was useless. Almost immediately the fabric on chaise started to come apart. After significant fighting between me, joybird and the warranty company, they finally had someone come out and determined it was a manufacturing defect. The guy was APPALLED by the poor quality and assured me that a new cover would be sent and installed. A year later? Nothing. Absolute garbage company and product. Stay away.

Purchased a Joybird couch a little over a year ago. Naturally out of warranty now. Spent extra for pet protection. Not only did the couch not hold up the pillows are basically disintegrating.can prop them up but as soon as someone sits they crumble. Contacted Customer support over 2 months ago, yet to receive assistance. For the 4K plus I coulda purchased a cheaper couch and replaced it for less. Overpromised and under delivered.
