Joong Boo Market is a beloved Korean and Asian grocery store. It carries a great variety of products not found in regular stores, including fresh produce, a great meat and fish counter, and a lovely selection of spices and sauces. The frozen section has dumplings and rice cakes, and there is a wild snack section. It has an attached houseware shop and not one but two restaurants on site, including a fresh dumpling shop. Many find it the best Korean grocery in town, with everything fresh and cheap, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Some note the parking lot is always full and difficult to maneuver. The aisles are narrow and close together, which can seem unsafe and be hard to navigate. While some prefer other locations, this store is considered a big deal to the neighborhood for specific Asian ingredients.
One of my favorite markets for Asian goods in the entire city! Varied selection for great prices. I always stop by if I'm in the area.

Great store to pick up asian cuisine products. The red meat is fresh, the fish in great shape and you can stay as long as u want or shop as quick. I fequently shop here rather than in chinatown fir its diversity in products
