I ordered my son bike off Amazon and had someone put it together and they did it wrong therefore the bike shop put my son bike together same day service for a $45 hollar. Before and After pictures are included in post. Also, gave feedback and fixed a problem on the bike I never knew about.

The customer service is superior to all other hardware stores! You not only get products at a very reasonable prices, but you also get great handy advice and service with a smile! The fact that this business is Black Owned, makes it a much more of a reason to support this business!

I live downtown where there's a bike repair shop 2 blocks away. However I decided to support Black business & go to the south side to have my bike tuned up. Firstly I don't think they did a tune up at all ($90). I believe they only fixed the problem that I pointed out which was a bent rear rim. Secondly when I picked up my bike I had an additional issue not present when I dropped it off. My seat was quite loose which I didn't discover until I arrived at a bike trail. (If I had read the reviews I would have seen that another customer experienced this issue.) Had that repaired by another bike shop ($0). Recently I went to a hilly bike trail. I speed down the decline to coast over the hills like a roller coaster. I was going really fast & hit my brake. Absolutely nothing happened. I hit my other brake. Same. I had to stop like Fred Flintstone almost twisting my ankle or worse. I could have been killed if that occurred approaching an intersection. Took my bike to the repair shop up the street & my bike is riding better than ever. What makes this even worse is that there's a sign in the shop espousing, encouraging the use of Black businesses. Chastising language if you don't. (I took a picture but can't find.) I will never patronize this particular Black business ever again. Words & actions contradictory.

I needed an inner tube for my bicycle that none of the big box stores had, my sister told me about John's. I called they said they had it, and I went immediately and picked it up and got instructions from the Johnny on how to properly install it. Everything worked out fine. Was very happy to support a black business.

What kinda good ne neighborhood is when a customer need air and all they need is an adapter for an inner tube you try to make them buy it and they walk up there from six blocks away yeah you might provide free air but how you provide free air but make a person by the adapter for the inner tube contradicting yourself good customer service not like.
