My friends and I were in the middle of a pool game when we were in desperate need of Modelo. The store is close to my domain so I walked there and luckily Modelo was all we needed. John's Corner Store can claim exceelent customer service because workers were very nice and professional but there isn't much to the store in terms of liquor - they sell a lot of beer but not too many boxes of other spirits (unless you want an expensive bottle from behind the register or a can on Monaco)

Great spot to stop for liquor, especially when your not trying to deal with all the bs and knuckle heads on the East side... And the dont forget to grab a scratch off!!😉

I've been going here a long time to buy things like pop, chips, and ice cream for my kids. The guys that work there are cool and friendly with all their customers. Shop here if you want to help a small local business with some good neighborhood people on staff.
