Recently had a blowout after hitting a rough speed bump on Glenwood and walked my bike over here for help. The shop was very busy, but they made time to change out my tube and send me on my way. Friendly people, great service!

If they don't have what you need, they'll happily hook you up with their sister location or make a custom order. 1st time customer, went there a month ago for general checkup and they were great and easy to work with and fair prices, they added a basket for my dog at the front of the bike and installed complimentary. Would definitely go in the future and recommend.

First off: A Mea Culpa - I made an appointment for the Lakeview location thinking it was the Andersonville, but the team was so gracious when I came lugging my bike in and took my bike for repair despite this mistake. Their grace in that matter really started off my experience positively.Since my previous bike was stolen (thank you to whomever did that) - my mother offered up her e-bike that she only rode for half the summer last year, and when I got it I could see why: The back wheel had several missing spokes and looked in rough shape.When I brought this to the team at Johnny Sprockets - they were very transparent about the cost as the motor was on the back wheel and needed specialty spokes, and were able to give me a price and a timeline of a week. A little into the timeline, I was given a call by the team to let me know that while they were hand building the wheel, the rim cracked in two, more than likely because of the bad spokes, but assured me they could replace the rim - they would just need a bit more time. The following Friday, I got the call that the bike was ready and I picked up this past Sunday.Overall - I paid a little close to $300 for the repairs, but, considering all the work that had to go in (and the fact that this bike was a free gift) - it was money well spent.I could immediately tell the difference with this new wheel on appearance, and when I went for a test ride - it ran beautifully. They even fixed the seat (which I did not expect them to do). 10/10, and will happily bring my bike in for tune ups and repairs again!

We took our Trek bikes in for seasonal maintenance. Staff was nice, efficient and explained what they thought the bikes were going to need. Got the bikes back in three days and they were better than ever! Smooth gear changing. They replaced my chain and made just little adjustments that made my bike perform better. Great job all around!

They are professionals and the service is excellent. I brought my road bike and they took good care of it.They also took their time to explain to me what was wrong with the bike and what parts needed to be replaced. No complaints -

The place looked nice, and the services were alright but they dragged a lot. It took almost a week to replace my back wheel. I also wasn’t able to get my original wheel. I did get 15% off but it wasn’t worth the same as the wheel, that I liked, which was upsetting. But they threw it out or maybe kept it with them ?♂️. Also, it’s pretty pricey so that’s not a designation for me anymore. But that’s my opinion based on my experience and anyone can test it for themselves. It’s not the same experience for everyone.

Came in here to ask about repairs after being hit by a car on my bicycle. Was told to bring it in. When I brought my bike in for assessment I was ignored for thirty minutes... not even acknowledged... and then I was told I would have to make an appointment and that I would then be given a date in a few weeks when I could bring my bike in. I asked why that wasn't mentioned to me when I stopped in to inquire about it. I was rudely told that I could just take it somewhere else, that there are "plenty of bike shops". Don't waste your time.

I purchased my first road bike here after some research and contemplation. I didn't really know where to start or begin when Entering, and I was greeted with friendly and informative help. I felt comfortable knowing I didn't know much about bikes and they could help me. Got set up with my bike, essentials and I'm loving the ride! Can't recommend them enough.

I walked in asking for rim tape and one of the mechanics wanted to sell me the entire role for $200 with a real nasty attitude I don't need the entire roll just enough for one wheel this is last Summer and it's a year later and I still remember not to go in there you catch more flies with honey

Truly terrible maintenance job that cost an arm and a leg!I nearly crashed after riding away because the disc brakes that I'd just paid them to align were so atrociously set up. The shifting was done appropriately, but that's quite a low bar, and they charged me extra (on top of the $150 service fee) for the cables and housing (a total ripoff at $12).I assume they're a casualty of pandemic attrition, but all the same, they're not competent at the present time. If you do need to take your bike to a mechanic in the neighborhood, go to Green Machine -- way better, way cheaper, way nicer, way more knowledgable, way better stock.

Amazing service, I dropped my bike Wed, for a tune up and I got it back Tuesday. If something is wrong the mechanic will call you to let you know what is the problem.So I recommend it 100%
