this grocery store is really unprofessional i recently came to pick up a box of cookies and asked one of the workers if he could kindly direct me to them he was white short black hair and had a chiseled face after i asked him where they were he proceeded to tell me in a rude uncaring tone it really hurt my feelings because im a sensitive person take this review into consideration and make sure to hire caring and professional workers

Undergoing huge store wide remodel. Service desk says construction will continue into January, the place is all torn apart.
10.25.24 - Totally under construction, location of all products has changed. Major work going on day and night, a little frustrating shopping at the store right now.

The staff is great but the store is disorganized and unclean. And the management always seems to have an attitude. Prices are often not what they advertise on the shelf. When you get to the register. If there is a register open and they not making everybody go through. Self-check. Which the public including me hate.

We regularly place grocery pick up orders from this location and it’s overall pretty decent. Not much of a wait and the order’s been correct each time. Today, Jocelyn went above and beyond and was exceedingly pleasant throughout the course of our interaction! She was professional and personable and unloaded our groceries expeditiously, lovely person.

No store is perfect. There are gonna be things that are missing, not enough help, prices that are high as heck but for what it is, this store is nice. Every time I come, the store associates are helpful with smiles on their faces. I have shopped here more times then I can count and every single time I have had associates go above and beyond to help me find what I am looking for and if they can’t find it they make sure to let me know when it will be in. Also, I want to address the review before mine, I was there when this “customer” was, and let me say, the problem had nothing to do with her kids and everything to do with her black hole of a purse which she conveniently used instead of her shopping cart and then when she got confronted she made a stink to distract from the fact that she got caught. Maybe, next time, pay for your groceries like the rest of us and keep your fake reviews and inflammatory statements to yourself. Be a better role model to those kids.

Kids are not allowed in this store. I have been coming here for 10 plus years. I live across on kedzie Ave. I took my kids with me to go for weekend dinners. Never will I go in again. My kids were being kids grabbing things that I continued to redirect them to put back. I took in my kids cough and cold medicine to see if there was a similar one to compare for sugar free. And did the man just accuse my 3 and 6 year old of stealing. I hope Albertsons appreciates the live show I and the associate gave the whole store.

Quality of the produce has gone very far downhill the past few months. Seems like every time I try to buy fresh fruit and vegetables they're rotting or just plain out. Also a lot of their advertised deals aren't in the system, so be sure to double check any receipts against their listed prices.

Love this store. Good prices, clean and easy to navigate through the store. The produce was very fresh. Most employees were super friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this store.

Giselle in the deli is great , she's attentive and nice . She works that deli slicer like a pro .

The good news is if you have an IQ below 90 you can possibly someday manage a Jewel Osco branch as demonstrated by whoever manages this one. They use old self-checkout machines that don't let you immediately put stuff in the cart and will routinely not read that you set it down. This results in a lot of waiting for the piece of sh-- machine to catch up. Someone with an IQ even lower than 90 would say this is to deter theft but if I want to steal from here I'm not even going to put it in a plastic bag. I would just pocket it or put it in a backpack. Also the produce section is a mess every time I'm there. Half the time I buy produce from here I discover it's rotten on the inside. When this happens I always steal a jar of sauce or something to get even. I encourage you to do the same because if we can get this manager fired then maybe someone competent can actually run this store.

I don't know who makes the fresh donuts over there, but I don't think they actually taste them to know that these are some of the worst donuts around.
