Horrible customer service at the service desk. The store manager "Bob" who refuse to give his last name is an @sshole . I would usually go to this store at least 5 times a week because not only do I go to this location to do shopping for myself, I do a lot of shopping for others at this location, but I will never step foot in this store again.. because as I mentioned , "Bob" the store manager is an @sshole..

Wow, the bakery is...a disappointment to say the least. Two employees, zero knowledge of the cakes they make and zero capability of following the cake order form. I mean, wow. I ended up calling my order in to a different location because I didn't trust the cake would be done correctly here at all.

Has the energy of a Dominick's before they all closed. It's sincerely impressive that no matter what your shopping list is, they'll be missing at least one thing every time. Today it was fresh spinach and bags at the self checkout.If they're going to funnel people towards their miserable self checkout, you'd assume they'd keep it stocked with bags, but no.Literally go to any of the other options near by; this is a poorly run grocery store that does the bare minimum.

Either dumb or lazy workers! I’m trying to pay for my groceries but I needed their assistance to proceed with payment. 3 employees too busy talking with a customer and not one had the time to come help me just keep gossiping with another customer

This is a sad grocery store as most Albertson run grocers usually are. The interior is dated and it's clear leadership budgets as little as possible into store upkeep and investment. Do yourself a favor and walk the two blocks to Aldi, the food is half the price of jewel and is run by a company that has standards and pays employees accordingly.

Joel (rent a cop) and David (rent a cop corporate) are legitimately the worst. Joel likes to put his hands on customers and David approves of his behavior. Don't forget the milk because they'll assume you're stealing it and that, for David, validates assault. David went on to say, under Illinois law a security guard can detain you... he's correct but they cannot use force of any kind because a security guard is NOT police officer, which is also written in the section, DAVID. So no, a gift card isn't going to cut it. How about I press charges instead?

Hige shout out to DaNaya and I’ve probably spelled her name incorrectly.I asked at the bakery if they had discontinued the pretzel bites. She mentioned she was new and would check with some of the other employees as she thought they were somewhere in the back. Not only did she check she could not locate the actual bites, but suggested the pretzel dinner rolls as a substitute. Turns out they will work out perfect when I cut them up to dip in my cheese sauce. It was so kind of her to stop the inventory that she was doing to help me as a customer. I really appreciate it.

I usually stop at this Jewel to make purchases prior to visiting my friend's boat at Montrose Harbor. It is pretty reliable whenever I go for fruit, snacks, and beverages.
