Waiting a week for the main office to fix my ability to log in. Can't get coupons or deals. Not just this Jewel but all Jewel stores. No coupons, no shopping. I go to Aldi or Walmart now. Have to take 1 or 2 busses when I can walk to Jewel. Oh, well,Jewel's loss is Aldi's gain.

Absolutely horrible experience. The cashier asked for a bagger no one came and she looked at me like I was supposed to bag my own groceries and then when I asked her normally if I had to bag she got an attitude and very defensive about being by herself and I had to be patient. As the paying customer I should not be told to be patient in a defensive way and I will no longer be going to Jewel Osco again. Mariano’s it is for me.

They don't care about customers, so I go to other Jewel locations now.
The last time I went, it was just after 7 pm on a weeknight, and there were absolutely no carts inside for customers. However, every single empty checkout lane was blocked with a cart, and several were in aisles filled with boxes and being used by employees. These employees are ALWAYS blocking customers' ability to shop. I can't even count the number of times I've been cut off by them.
Upon leaving, I saw they were keeping a few of the smaller carts outside, in between the redbox rental machine and the people begging for money (there were 7 at the time, mostly children and a pregnant woman wearing only a bra). When I say outside, I mean 5 feet away from the exit. They force you to go in and out this door because they lock the other entrance after 7 pm. Keep in mind this store does not close until 10 pm.
In the same evening, the produce/bakery section smelled horrible... like bodily functions, let's leave it at that. I left without purchasing anything because I was so appalled.
The Harlem and Six Corners Jewel locations are leagues above this place. I suggest you save yourself frustration and go there instead.

Worst Jewel on the North Side. Rude, smelly cashiers, messy aisles and I’ve bought out of date meat off the shelves there by accident more than once. Go anywhere else for your own health, safety and sanity.

This is an older Jewel store so it's smaller. They have most everything you'll need an awesome neighborhood grocery.

The cashier was gross. His nose was running and he kept wiping it with his hand that he was checking my food out with.
