This Jewel is 2 blocks from where I live, I usually try and avoid this store but my wife and I popped in this morning due to convenience. We were reminded why we avoid this store. It seems dirty, the employees are miserable, poor quality sea food and meat. A bad vibe all around

They are too expensive,last year I could spend $100 & get enough groceries for a month,now you spend the same and get enough for 3 days and that's pushing it quite a bit. I went to Tony's supermarket on Fullerton and spent $100 and got enough groceries for a week & 1/2.

This has been my primary store for many years but until recently I have not been as pleasantly surprised as I am now. From the Service Desk to the Checkout personnel, from the produce to the Spirits depts to the cleanliness of the store, everyone has been a delight. Keep it up!

The main pharmacist that works here is great. I don’t remember her name but the few times I have had to come into this pharmacy she has answered all my questions. If you need to speak to anyone over the phone? Forget it! I try and remember everyone is short staffed and pharmacy technician are extremely important part of ensuring your prescriptions are filled. However, time sensitive medication refills and questions revolving them should at least be heard. What has been shown to me each time I have called is lack of empathy and quick dismissal. You will be placed on hold regardless of your inquiry. I needed a medication that is time sensitive transferred to them. I’ll be trying another CVS. If you have medication that you absolutely need to survive or that are time sensitive please stay away! I hope the pharmacy technician that was working today gets better training. I wish him well

It's always such an ordeal at Jewel. I bought grapes and strawberries because both were on sale for 99¢ per pound. It wouldn't scan my digital store card, and didn't give me the option to put in my phone number, so the person said she had to void the transaction and I'd have to scan things again. Second time around, the same thing happened. Had I not been paying attention, Jewel would have overcharged me by more than $7.
