Today celebrating black history month at Jewel Food Store. They had a full band a DJ for the music. They have black vendors that were giving out samples of black owned businesses. They need to do this at least once a month. Besides just black history month because I'am pretty sure that there are more black history vendors more than this. They have tasty samples

I wanted to take the time to highlight an employee Pat G in the meat department. I came to the store hoping to get some catfish and while looking for ingredients I had the pleasure of working with Pat G on yesterday's trip to the store. She explained the catfish options that the store had and she even took the time to share her personal tips on how ti prepare the food when I asked. The best part was she too the time to reference the other places in the store where I could find the needed items.Long story short, the meal came out great. I appreciate her for enthusiastically helping me. It's like she could tell I didn't have a clue. I would love to continue to have those experiences with her the next time I visit the meat department. Thank you again Pat G and thank you Jewel Osco!

Four workers behind rhe deli one worker helping one customer. While the other workers still prepping food for the store and ignoring customers that is waiting for service. Customer service is a no go ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

This Jewel Deli department, cashiers and baggers are very rude. They are not people person people. The Deli department do not know how to listen to their customers on what the customer wants. I do not appreciate give me more than what I ask for; a half of pound of Cole slaw means a half! I do not appreciate my chicken being dry out or torn-up pieces. Lastly, I do not appreciate the workers in the Deli department not fully wearing their face mask. The mask should be completely over the nose and mouth. This is terrible service!

Went to Jewel Osco at 7:00 am this morning. Courteous, Kind, Professional, Willing to Assist are just a few words I would use to describe the employees at Jewel Osco located at 95th & Stony Island. The store is clean and well stocked. I started at the deli counter where the lady thanked me for being a customer. Next was the butcher, fresh meat counter. Can't say enough complimentary things about the butcher. He treats his customers like they are all special and he's more than happy to assist. It's like you're at a meat market. Employees who are stocking items greet customers. My final contact was with the check out lady who smiled and said Good Morning. Customer Service is absolutely fantastic at this store. I highly recommend this Jewel Osco for the courteous employees who go out of their way to be helpful and kind. I also recommend this Jewel Osco for the well stocked shelves, cleanliness and overall appearance of the store.

Stopped in to grab a few things. Overall store is clean & organized. Not crowded & plenty of things to choose from. No empty cashier stations either. Every single one was being manned & there were baggers at each one as well. They had the Monopoly on display, but I didn't receive any tickets or a board even though I spent over $200 so don't know whats going on there.
