Didn’t feel welcoming at all, and the tools she used on my hands were not clean. Actually, everything inside seemed like it needed to be cleaned. I should’ve got up and left when I saw the tray she was using had grime on it from the past services. I got a manicure and pedicure and I was in and out literally after 30 minutes! The nail tech did not seem to offer much care and seemed bothered to even accept my appointment. During the services she never spoke to me, never smiled and entirely seemed like a chore for her. There was no hand or leg/foot massage. I don’t feel I wasted my money though because now I know what standard I’m looking for in a business.

The service was fine, and they were able to fit me in for a walk-in quickly. However, the cleanliness of this place is substandard. The chair and the side table attached to it had obviously not been wiped down between customers. The metal tools the tech used were on a tray that still had someone else’s nail clippings on it, which made me wonder if any of the tools had been sanitized before they were used on me. The foot bowl was covered in a new plastic liner, but neither the bowl itself nor the jets were cleaned or sanitized before or after use. I won’t be back.
Cleanliness: I would not recommend this place if cleanliness is at all a consideration for you. Nothing appeared to have been cleaned or sanitized based on what I could see.

walked in for the first time and the nail tech was very rude. I walked in to get a pedi and she agreed to do it however she did it in such a rush and i know she did because i always get a pedi elsewhere and i know the process . then i ask her i wanted to do a full set and ask for coffin. what i got was not coffin. the nail was lumpy and shape was not it. never again. speak no english which is fine but the owner saw me struggling and did not bother to come and help her employee. she was to busy taking selfies. does this look like coffin to you???? I will not come back.
Requested style: coffin

when I walked in and they said they had time and I waited 15 to 20 minutes before anybody saw me.
The person providing the service but did not speak to me or ask any questions of what I wanted. when I ask for a shiny buff it seemed like it would put it putting her out.

Brown and black people do not go here! It’s a pattern of them messing up our nails.
They charged full price for a pedicure but didn’t give the full service. And had an attitude when I addressed it. They had to switch people. My sister no chip CHIPPED the next day. Overpriced and not worth the trouble.

Prices have been going up everywhere for everything but at Jenny’s you still get good service at a very reasonable price. I stopped in for a mani pedi ($48) and Vin Tran did a great job. The massage chairs are SO relaxing I wasn’t even on my phone. Between the foot massage, hot towel and massage chair I was the most relaxed I’ve been in a long time.
Super cute nail salon with a wide variety of colors and service offerings, well worth the trip from the south loop ??
Update: either the clear coat, wearing black leggings or the UV lamps in the dryer caused my pastel blue nails to turn brown in a week. I read online a certain popular brand of clear polish may do this, especially in combination with a UV lamp but also read wearing black and having the nails rub on the clothes can cause it as well.

Easily my favorite nail salon in all of Chicago! I have never had a bad experience and the staff is so friendly. I had one nail chip early and they immediately were able to squeeze me in for a fix with no charge. Very chill, very happy, would recommend to anyone :)

first impressions are everything and this salon is beautiful, but its friendliness and customer service Lack. as a person who gets their nails done frequently, I decided to try a new salon unfortunately very disappointed. My nails got messed up in the nail dryer and the tech didn't bother to ask if I would like the nail fixed. Instead, I had to assist for another clearcoat to hide the mistakes.. even though I was disappointed, I still tipped. and no hand massage.

*graphic photo attached* I was in May 2nd for a pedicure. The tech doing my pedicure clipped the crevice of skin close to my cuticle on my big toe. I didn’t think much of it as these things happen often when people rush. However, the pain didn’t go away. A few days after a bump was growing and my surrounding toe nail area was turning black. Went to the doctor, they gave me antibiotics ointment for it and said I got an infection from the cut. I called the shop to tell them and whoever I spoke to simply said “oh sorry, we usually clean our equipment” that’s it. Didn’t even offer a refund. Had to go back to the doctor again today, my toenail is loose and the cuticle is getting worse. So I have a new antibiotic to hopefully help, can’t wear closed toe shoes on my left foot and I’ve been insanely inconvenienced because of this. It’s literally a pain to walk. Very disappointed and traumatized by the notion of a pedicure.

Hit or miss! But 90% of the time it's a great experience. The owner is always kind and professional. I mostly return because of the owner.

First time here and I am impressed. The design is exactly what I wanted and they were able to mimic my inspiration picture. I am picky with my nails and salons prices to the point I just do my nail’s myself, but I couldn’t do this design. The price was worth the service they gave me. I definitely been to nails salons that’s been way more. I’m happy to find my new salon that’s very close to me :)
I used to work at Disney world and I have friends that still work there. I am visiting there this week and my friends loveee the nails. I got so many compliments. I was nervous it was going to take a long time but they were quick but careful and I made it to my flight today :)

The peppermint pedicure experience was nice but they told me my nails were finished drying and it was okay to put on my shoes only to find they were dry and the pedicure was smudged. This was somehow after sitting under dryers for the whole manicure and even a while after… not sure if their dryers weren’t strong enough or what.
The gel manicure was not great - they did a really bad job on my cuticles and didn’t take the time that other salons I’ve been to do to make them nice. It is a bummer this place isn’t better because the location is so convenient but I’ll probably go out of my way to go to farther places given the experience.
Overall, the process was also very rushed (I should’ve believed the reviews that had said this!)

Went in for an acrylic removal and a regular manicure. The service was very rushed, instead of being a relaxing experience it ended up making me anxious. The nail shapes were uneven, the manicure didnt include any massage and went from filing to nail polish. When I asked, she randomly put some lotion on my palm and gave me the most uncomfortable "massage" while i had the nail polish on. Then after the top coat, the lady did a very messy cuticle cleanup with acetone and didnt even finish up with cuticle oil (which I had to remind her). At the end, my hands were looking all puffed and wrinkled with all the acetone soakup, uneven nail paint on and around the nails, and the nails were all sharp and scratchy. This lady was just in a hurry to finish up! Terrible experience and I felt totally ripped off!
Update- Nails feel paper thin and are already cracking within 2 days of the manicure. Never happened before. Terrible!!

What I hate most about Jenny’s Nail Salon is her lazy, stinky husband with his stinky foods and asking everyone else to clean up after him. He’s awful.
