Adding to the long list of 1 star reviews, I would not recommend working with this agency on the owner side either. After having a working relationship with agent Mary Hingey, we have tried to enlist her services for rental renewals this year, which she blatantly refused because we are not using her for other real estate transactions. After sending plenty of business her way over the years, will refrain in future

I had an awful experience with Elizabeth Amidon. I applied for the unit she was listing agent for (exceeded all the rental criteria), paid the $75 application fee and was told I was approved after an entire week of waiting. She never sent the lease and rented the unit out from under me to someone else without even the courtesy of letting me know or providing a reason that they didn’t keep their word. Throughout the entire process, her attitude was awful and her communication was poor - she flat out refused to answer questions or answer her phone after they approved me. What a poor representation of the company.

I would not recommend this company, as they lack integrity/honesty. I called realtor, Jeanette Cortina about the inaccurate listing (MLS 11974890). There is NO attached parking space. The wait list for parking generally exceeds 1 year. No response, no correction. I then called the broker, Jim Miller. No correction. I also called the MLS service and talked to Michelle, also no correction. I called the Illinois realtor ombudsman, and was assured this was taken care of after the ombudsman talked to Jim Miller. Still no correction. Other real estate companies have corrected this error once it is brought to their attention. Not Sotheby's.

Ronda Fish made buying a house, in a crazy market, stress free. We didn't know the ins and outs of what we should be looking for and Ronda quickly helped us gain our bearings. She would be helpful and provide her insight about what is good about the property and what would have potential issues in the long run. She was very patient with us as we were truly waiting for the "perfect" place to come on the market. She had great a strategy when putting in an offer that led us to winning the bid and buying our dream condo! My husband and I would recommend Ronda to any home buyer!

My limited interaction with Jameson Realty was quite disappointing. I was the buyer and they were the sellers' agent, the deal fell through during inspection, within the contingency period.Refunding the escrow ($19k) held by Jameson Realty became needlessly complicated and prolonged. The release of escrow form initially had the incorrect seller name, causing a week's delay. I ended up singing four release forms. Communication with my agent was poor, and my attempts to contact the office consistently led to going to voicemail.I would not recommend.

AGENT KELLY MCDONAGH WAS A HUMAN DYNAMO. SHE HAD OUR HOUSE SOLD IN TWO DAYS. ONLY TWO BUYERS TOOK THE TOUR WITH KELLY AND IT WAS SOLD AT TOP PRICE.

From the buyer's side, these guys were terrible to work with. Completely unethical and needlessly adversarial.Andrew Miller from Jameson Sotheby's was the agent on the seller's side, and also happened to be the seller's brother. He came across as salt of the earth at first, only later to find out he was actually just the dirt.First of all, the advertisement for the property was inaccurate in many respects. The HOA fees and property taxes were listed on the MLS as much lower than they actually were. Further, they advertised additional storage and a bike room- both completely untrue. They did not offer any concessions for these misrepresentations either.Lastly, the sellers left the place with scuff marks and chipped paint, not to mention the grime and literal brown goo inside all of the cabinets! Andrew said they would leave the place spotless and send a handy man to repair the marks left behind from the move. Well, the handyan came with the WRONG color paint! After painting over all of the patched areas with it, he then informed me and the sellers it was the wrong paint. The seller's insisted they told him the correct color. But, it was later noted that they just picked something out that they thought was "substantially similar." What??Andrew promised to fix this, but what do you know, it's been more than a MONTH and after stringing me and my broker along for weeks, he finally just ghosted us altogether. So, now I have very obvious discolored walls. AVOID if possible!!The attorney they use is also a total piece of work and will argue everything she possibly can, including fixing a screen door with holes from the seller's pets. As an attorney in real estate myself, it is well understood that not everything is adversarial and in fact most of it is not- both sides can come out happy. Apparently, not with these guys though. Run!

Working with Ronda was truly the BEST. She's unbelievably knowledgeable, well-connected, and an amazing consultative partner. She was so adept at listening to our needs and making a targeted plan of action to get us into the neighborhood we wanted. She made the process stress-free. I can't believe that in this insane market, she was able to get us the perfect home. We couldn't be happier here and it's all thanks to Ronda being a rockstar. We kind of want to move again just as an excuse to hang out with her more. Thanks, Ronda!

I couldn't recommend anyone better to work with than Landon. He is very easy to work with and is flexible when it comes to supporting your needs. When I was looking to buy my first home, he made sure I took the time to think it over and that it was the best decision for me both now and in the future. Without having someone that I can trust like Landon, I don't think I would have bought my first home when I did.

Working with Jenni was amazing! I had very specific things I was looking for in an apartment and she did a great job factoring those into her searches and only sending me things that fit the parameters I set. We only needed to look at a few places before I found the apartment I wanted to rent. In the past, I have looked at 20+ places before finding what I wanted. On top of that, Jenni is personable, easy to talk to, and doesn't have that "realtor sell-y" vibe. You can be honest and she listens openly so she can find the right thing that fits for you.

Terrible experience with this company. Incompetent and inconsiderate. Would not recommend to anybody. There’s a reason all their positive reviews on here are from people that work there.
