I'm Japanese.I thought the rent was too high even then, so I think it would be very unlivable in 2023. The dorm itself is in good condition.The heating is quite strong and the plumbing is poorer than in Japan, but I think this is due to cultural differences.

Not ideal. Weirdly shaped. Inconvenient accessibility. Dramatic indoor outdoor temperature differences. Too far from main campus. Double rooms are very cramped. It’s OK overall though. Photo is of typical student used restroom.
