I went in to buy a rare bottle that can't be easily found elsewhere. The store clerk said he thought I was going to rob the store.
I'm a professional from Canada do not experience racism like this often, if ever (I am mixed race). It was a surprise and a real insight into your country.

Owner was extremely kind and courteous, recommended some great selections that I had never heard of. The selection here is truly one of a kind and it shows off the owners vast knowledge of their field. One more thing that I really enjoyed about the store was the fact that all of the bottles were in an approachable price range. Would definitely recommend to check it out and pick up some nice bottles from here.

I still rave about this place. I don't know if the owner is still Scott with his sweet lil dog that I can't remember the name of at the moment, but every trip there was like a brief vacation or break from life. Scott would bust out his laser pointer and show you which region on the map (that he painted) the spirit or wine came from... man I've tried so many great spirits and wines there... I moved before he really got into the beer side of things but he did have a really cool corner of boutique bitters made by little old ladies in different parts of the globe... I always tell friends going to Chicago that this spot is a must see for any person who loves a good wine & spirits shop.

The owner is a sweetheart who is SO knowledgeable about every bottle in his store. Highly recommended if you want to get a bottle that's delicious and that you'd never think to get on your own. Aside from the great international wine selection, they have a wide array of specialty spirits that you won't find at your cornerstone/bodega. I love having this place in the neighborhood.

Rare gem of a store. Rare wines at good prices. Wish I found this place sooner. I will never settle for grocery store wine again lol.

Great wine/spirit shop. Staff is always helpful and friendly and knows their stuff. Large selection for small space they have to work with, though that is part of the store’s charm.Always be wary, they stock items of limited production/release. So when you find a spirit or wine that you like, pay attention, for it may be gone before you know it.
