I called to schedule an appointment and the secretary was extremely rude. I will absolutely not be bringing my pet anywhere near this place.

If I could leave them 0 stars I would. My dog got very very sick and he was brought in. First I had to call like 50 times for someone to bring make the emergency appointment to bring him in. The doctors went back and forth with what was wrong and finally diagnosed him. After medicine and IVs and learning what to do at home and 1000. We were trying to save our dog. The next day we had questions. We called and called and finally left a message with someone for the doctor to call us back. Our dog passed 24 hours later. The doctor finally called back 2 days later. Smh. The callousness and lack of concern was ridiculous. They had no problem taking my money but couldn’t have the empathy to say your dog can not be saved or even to return a phone call. If you love your pet don’t come here

Took my Salem ?⬛ here to get a yearly exam. They were so nice and sweet to him. Recommended extra care, but wasn't pushy to get extra money. Prices are reasonable. Treated me and my baby so nice!

It's pricey but the care is good. My complaint is that I can't get my dog in for urgent care in a timely manner. It's also difficult to reach by phone. Most of the staff are friendly and I like the providers.

Incredibly kind staff who want the best care for your pet. The best care may cost slightly more, but absolutely worth it.

My puppy died after coming here. No they did not kill her; however, there was a degree of negligence on their part-- that may have caused harm. She got sick over the weekend. They had just treated her for an ear infection. She was alert when she came in. After being there several hours - they brought her out in a blanket - NOT ALERT. I rushed her to ER.They wanted to observe her overnight- even though they close at 7, and open 8am next day. Who would watch her? I took her to the ER since they really weren't doing anything. When I arrived to ER- the specialist said she was CRITICAL. However, Hyde Pk had her all morning and never told me that. They sent her records to ER, and something sounded the alarm. The ER doctor was waiting for us and rushed my 2 yr puppy to the back. I never saw my puppy alive again.Hyde Pk Animal Hosp Failure to Inform me of the puppy serious/ critical condition made me think that it would be a normal vet visit. She has thrown up & pooped a lot in the past. They changed her food - which helped. I thought it would be something similar. What they should have told me was to take her to the ER... instead they tried to sell me on the ridiculous overnite suggestion. We lost life saving hours sitting in room with no solution. Only overnight. Can you imagine her being there in that condition dying in their dark office- alone. ? Bottomline they focused on overnite $$-- when they HAD TO HAVE KNOWN how gravely ill she was. Yes, I gave them their $800 and rushed to my puppy to ER. I'm heart broken and angry. They gave her pain meds on an empty stomach- without letting me know. This explained why she could not wake up in the ER. They took away her ability to stay alert and fight for her life. Now I just sit here crying. Angry that I trusted them.Shame on you Hyde Pk. I've trustedthem for over a decade. Now I wish Ihad not.vominf - but a They came back with pancreatitis. Later they told me (after) she died that they weren't equipped to handle

I am writing this review because I read another review which suggested that they will take you for all the money that you have, and that is absolutely correct.First, the technology platforms that they use are outdated. It’s impossible to actually book an appointment or refill medications through the app; you have to call. When you call, their message tells you to book through the app even though it’s not possible.Second, I have taken my animals here for several years. I have scheduled all of their exams on time. They are up to date on all of their vaccines. And yet, when I called to request a refill of a medication for a recurring medical issue - I was met with very expensive barriers. What I found interesting was the way in which the representative went about explaining this. I asked for the food and she tells me they’re out of stock. I suggest a solution: I can order it through chewy and the doctor can approve it? Now that I have suggested a solution where I could get the medicated food elsewhere, she tells me that actually I need to book an annual wellness appointment because they haven’t seen my cat in 13 months.I didn’t book an appointment with them because I booked elsewhere (appointment pending) because every time I take my pets in for an exam I am stuck there for 1.5-2 hours as a result of the long wait times. For this particular ailment, the doctor didn’t do any additional tests or actually investigate the issue - they just prescribed the medicated food. Therefore, based on my experience, they could easily just approve the medicated food a second time for a recurring and known ongoing issue - but not if they want to get your money!Generally speaking, establishments that require deposites, cancel late appointments and charge cancellation fees but then also see patients horrendously late are garbage. I feel like for an ongoing patient of YEARS, the doctor could’ve approved that dang prescription appointment pending so that I could go ahead and start my cat on treatment. But they care more about getting their money than they do about the wellbeing of your pet. A capitalistic win, but a fail in providing adequate care.0/1 would recommend this facility
