very bad service i wanted to ask about some thing but the woman in reception asked me for my ID i said i have passport and she said it must be valide .. why ?! why i need my ID for asking a question also i have an account at this bank so i'm a customer .. dont go to this place

I was missing a discharge letter for an old mortgage from TCF bank (who Huntington purchased) and was at a loss. I drove to this branch and had the pleasure of meeting with the manager Cesar. He listened, scanned one of my documents and emailed it off to the mortgage department. Less than 24 hours later I received the discharge letter than was holding up my house closing. Cesar is my HERO! He took awesome care of me and helped me when I was about to give up. In full disclosure, I'm not familiar with Huntington Bank, but based on how Cesar took care of me, I'm sure it's a great place to bank!

Update: Saving FaceS1 E2So, I called the number provided, expecting some answers. I thought I'd be speaking with the person who responded to my initial complaint.Nah, I had to go through the whole scenario again and still got no answers. It must be that particular branch policy was the only answer I got. Which leads me to conclude that the response to my first complaint by Huntington is just for the public eye. Saving Face. Just to make it appear that they follow up and that they care.Their message may as well be computer generated, perhaps it was.On Feb. 3-23 I went online line to verify hours. Branch Lobby: M-F: 9am - 5pm. Only half mile so I walked there to find doors locked at 3:30pm. I was directed to the drive up window where I stood with two other customers in 11 degree temperature. I had questions on the deposit of my international check, which was difficult to do through a window plus, I had no privacy. So I opted to just put it in my checking account. 35 minutes later I was told it would take four to eight weeks to clear. What technology is being used, carrier pigeon?It felt degrading to have to stand outside in 11 degree temperatures to try and do my business.At the very least, update your website with correct hours.I've been with TCF for twenty-six years, I can't say it'll be the same for Huntington.I should also add, the lady that was working with me was very nice. I give her 4 stars..

What bank is only open by appointment only? And it's only posted on the door when you get there.. they won't open door for you.*Edited to add: I don't see the point of emailing your Social department. I wanted to open an account, employees were inside but no one would even come to the door.

To bad I can't leave ZERO stars!!! Worst bank ever, move your money to a better bank! Trying to close my husband's account because he passed away. I've been trying to do this for months! I was told I needed a death certificate and a statement to close the account. I mailed it to the corporate office, it took them 4 months to reply to say they couldn't find the account. So while in town I stop at the branch to close the account. This woman proceeds to tell me she needs the RECEIPTS to prove he had a funeral and that I paid for it! WTF?! She said she's following policy...oh your policy is to take the worst thing to happen to a person and make them re-live it?! I'm so angry right I can't stand myself!!! WORST BANK EVER...RUN AWAY!!!

Good bank overall but this particular branch is consistently incompetent. I've tried several times over the years given it's closest location but it's been a horrible experience every time.

You might consider opening an account here based on some offer they are running... just don't. This is the worst bank, the worst branch, the worst service, I have ever experienced. They don't want your business. I am only thankful that I was able to mercifully avoid future business with them.

ONLY 1 ATM outside (which is never working to withdraw) no other ATM inside for people in a Rush . When you ask when the atm will work instead of giving an estimate they send you elsewhere as to not deal with you . Very dissmisive staff
