RUN. I did my taxes here, and I was quoted on the phone $80. Before my consultation, I was quoted $250, after I was charged $450 due to having stocks and other items to file. It was an hour long and the man Carl stated I owed over $5000 which is insane due to my financial status. I refiled with someone one else and I got $6000 in RETURN. only go toHR block if you are in the mood to get robbed and love giving the IRS more than you have.

Only reason it's getting 2 stars is because of Samuel Vazquez, who was not my agent but the agent nearby. My agent was Karl and he was extremely rude and demeaning. Very unprofessional and just straight up mean. I eventually declined the meeting due to some numbers but have never felt so awful in my life. If you go, request Samuel. Trust me.

One of the tax specialists made a mistake while filing my taxes, requiring me to pay $500+ in taxes to a state I didn't receive income from. The tax preparer also made a mistake while filing a claim to get this fixed, which delayed a solution for more than 3 months. I purchased their \\\"piece of mind\\\", which I was told would at least refund my tax prep fee of $200+. After numerous calls to customer service and a consultation with a different tax preparer, I was sent a refund check for $14 with no explanation. I would have been better off doing my taxes on TurboTax. Will never use H\\u0026R block again and will tell everyone I know to stay away.

I have been coming to hrb to do my taxes for the past 3 or 4 years and I have never had an issue with using your tax service. Service is great and tax people are awesome
